Job Overview 

Mitratech’s Legal Spend Management team is seeking a Director to oversee a portfolio of clients for our Managed Bill Review (MBR) solution. This individual contributor role is responsible for driving client success, achieving defined goals and ensuring delivery of the full MBR value proposition.  

The Director will act as the primary owner of client relationships, fostering engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of MBR practices, credibility within the legal, insurance, and business communities, and alignment with industry standards and client accounts.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Own and manage client relationships across an assigned portfolio 
  • Prepare and communicate complex analytics clearly to senior client stakeholders 
  • Deliver legal spend analytics (monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc) 
  • Drive client adoption and engagement through onboarding, training and analytics 
  • Maintain regular contact with key decision makers and stakeholders and lead stewardship meetings where appropriate 
  • Collaborate with the MBR team on day-to-day client requests, including attending status meetings and escalating service issues where appropriate 
  • Articulate client needs and objectives and collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions and drive resolution of identified issues, escalating where needed. 
  • Ensure client objectives are clearly documented and actively monitored for progress toward achievement.  
  • Ensure timely approval of all project documents, specifications, change requests, test results, and deliverables, while maintaining budget and timeline compliance 
  • Recommend improvements to the customer lifecycle and internal processes 
  • Partner with product and engineering teams on design and testing priorities 
  • Execute corrective action plans for at-risk clients and track results, following escalation procedures where appropriate (stakeholder interviews, etc.) 
  • Stay current on MBR products/services and industry trends 
  • Travel to client sites as needed 

Requirements & Skills: 

  • Proficient in MS Office and/or Google Suite 
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and macros) 
  • Strong organizational skills to manage action items across 20 – 30 enterprise clients 
  • Skilled in building senior-level relationships and influencing stakeholders 
  • Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experienced in building customer relationships using remote communication tools (phone, video, web training).  
  • Practical knowledge of SQL and report writing 
  • Analytical, process-oriented mindset 
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills; able to simplify complex concepts 
  • Confident presenter and trainer for group sessions 

Education: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 
  • 3+ years of Experience in Customer Facing role in the Enterprise Software Industry 
  • Preferred experience in either the legal, claims, or risk and insurance industry 

This role can be performed 100% remote anywhere in the US. Anticipated Pay Range: $80,000 - $87,000 Annually USD
