Who You Are

You're a rare combination: a hands-on writer and execution machine who's genuinely excited to roll up your sleeves and produce whatever the team needs. Shaping product updates, customer stories, and company news into content that builds brand awareness and supports growth. Blogs, posts, social copy, email content, sales enablement pieces: whatever’s on the list, you bring the same care to grammar, flow, and tone.

You simplify complex topics naturally, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and partner effectively with executives and subject-matter experts to shape authentic storytelling. You're curious, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. You see AI as a tool that makes you faster and sharper, not a replacement for editorial judgment

Position Overview

Mitratech is looking for a Content Specialist to help carry the voice of Mitratech Legal Solutions across media, thought leadership, executive communications, and digital channels. The role centers on editing and writing, shaping product updates, customer stories, and company news into content that builds brand awareness and supports growth. You'll report to the Senior Content Manager and work closely with our Web & Digital, Product Marketing, and Field Marketing teams to keep campaigns running across the website, email, and social. It's a solid launchpad into a content and brand marketing career, with real mentorship built in.

What You'll Do

  • Content editing. Give shape to what your teammates draft — tightening grammar, flow, and tone so everything reads consistently on-brand before it ships.
  • Brand storytelling and messaging. Help develop and maintain clear, consistent narratives about Mitratech's product innovation and customer value across channels.
  • Content strategy and campaigns. Repurpose major announcements, research, and events into blogs, social, email, and sales enablement content that extends their reach.
  • Cross-team coordination. Track drafts through review, chase down feedback, and keep timelines realistic as pieces move between writers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Event communications. Support messaging and content for conferences, webinars, and customer events.
  • Editorial quality and brand governance. Keep all communications sharp, consistent, and on brand.
  • AI-enabled workflows. Use AI to speed up research, drafting, and content transformation while applying strong editorial judgment.
  • Search visibility. Apply SEO and AEO best practices to improve discoverability across search and AI-powered experiences.
  • PR and multimedia, as needed. Jump in occasionally on a press pitch, podcast promo, or similar — useful exposure, but a small slice of the job rather than a daily focus.

Preferred Experience

  • A year or two of professional writing and/or editing under your belt — an internship, agency stint, or early marketing role all qualify.
  • A natural ease with AI tools, and real interest in using them day to day rather than working around them.
  • A knack for staying on top of multiple threads and deadlines without things slipping.
  • Background in SaaS, LegalTech, B2B tech, or enterprise software helps, but candidates from any industry are welcome.
  • Any exposure to PR, media outreach, or executive writing is a welcome bonus, not a requirement.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
