Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team in Chennai. You’ll design and build scalable backend services and AI-driven integrations using Python and FastAPI, working closely with our frontend team to deliver enterprise-grade applications.

You’ll own backend modules end-to-end, mentor mid-level engineers, and play a key role in system design and performance optimization. While not mandatory, familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, VS Code AI plugins) is a plus

Responsibilities:

Develop backend services & APIs (FastAPI, async).
Integrate with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.).
Ensure performance, scalability, and secure architecture.
Implement auth (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) and database optimizations.
Collaborate with React frontend team for seamless integration.
Mentor and review code for junior/mid developers.

Requirements:

7–9 years in Python backend development.
Strong expertise in Python 3.x, FastAPI, async/await.
Hands-on with DBs (Postgres/MySQL), Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud.
Experience in API/system design and performance tuning.

Bonus: worked with AI-assisted IDEs or LLM APIs
