Retail Performance Manager

Summary of Role:
The Retail Performance Manager is responsible for the strategic development and management of retail performance, including Tier 3 eLead conversion, digital dealer training initiatives, and the MiDIGITAL SOLUTIONS program, aimed to support dealer advertising and dealer website traffic conversion, increase dealer satisfaction, drive an improved customer experience, and grow digital sales volume through increased conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction and development of the Tier 3 performance improvement strategy to increase eLead Conversion, Reputation Score, MiDIGITAL SOLUTIONS utilization, and digital sales volume.
- Compose and maintain overall Tier 3 Retail Performance goals and objectives based on overall eLeads, Reputation, and Opportunity Management strategy.
- Manage and optimize the MiDIGITAL SOLUTIONS program and work with partner agencies to address program enhancements, performance issues and forward planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with vendor partners to compose, review, and approve field and dealer training utilization plan and focus content and training curriculum, including network-wide and region-based remote and in-person training sessions.
- Manage Reputation.com relationship to support MMNA goals for SSI and CSI.
- Establish program performance metrics and report results to ensure objectives and KPIs are being met. Develop countermeasures for underperforming program elements as needed.
- Develop and manage a new Tier 3 Compliance program for co-op dealer advertising.
- Provide timely communications, including performance reports, to the field regarding Retail Performance products and initiatives, program announcements, and training opportunities as needed.
- Manage the relationship of Retail Agencies of Record and vendors, including budgets and contracts.
- Stay current on marketing technologies and look for ways to incorporate new technologies into MMNA’s retail network tools. Maintain marketing best practices that will create continuous improvement throughout the retail network.
- Work closely with Marketing Communications and Sales Operations teams to align on overarching strategy, brand compliance, forward planning and KPI review.
- Regular attendance at work on a full-time schedule of at least 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in automotive retail performance training and/or marketing, regional/Tier 2 or Tier 3 marketing strategies and tactics, preferably from the OEM side with strong digital knowledge.
- Vendor, project & contract management experience.
- Ability to collaborate & identify/resolve conflicts or barriers to effective teamwork.
- Strong presentation skills that can be persuasive and informative in nature at all levels in the organization.
- Knowledge of CRM a plus.
- Ability to travel to Regional meetings as needed.
Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this position ranges between $90,000 to $115,000. The base salary will be based on a number of factors including the role offered, the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
