Position Overview
We're seeking a talented, enthusiastic and motivated UI Designer to join our growing product design team. This position is ideal for designers early in their career with 2-3 years of experience who are passionate about creating beautiful, functional e-commerce experiences and developing their visual design skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to support the creation of intuitive, visually engaging user interfaces across our digital platforms. This position reports directly to our Director of Product Design who oversees the Product Design team, which is part of the broader Product organization.
We’re seeking someone with a keen eye for aesthetics, a curiosity for how things work, and a desire to learn and grow within a supportive design culture.

What You'll Do
- User-centered design: Apply design best practices, accessibility principles, and responsive design techniques.
- Best-in-class E-commerce:
- Design inspiring solutions that improve conversion rates, reduce friction, and elevate the overall shopping experience.
- Partner closely with a Senior UX Designer to elaborate on wireframe concepts and improve solutions
- Support the creation of high-fidelity mockups and UI assets under guidance from senior designers
- Strive for design excellence
- Drive the UI process from wireframes to implementation for new and existing features
- Translate wireframes and user flows into polished visual and interactive designs
- Create polished UI components and screens based on established design patterns
- Assist in maintaining our design system and component libraries
- Contribute to visual explorations and help maintain design consistency
- Develop responsive interfaces for various screen sizes
- Pair with engineers to maintain flawless implementation of design solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align business goals with user needs.
- Effective communication: Clearly articulate design concepts, decisions, and rationale to stakeholders, team members, and leadership through presentations, storytelling, and documentation.
- Be a part of the culture:

- Participate in design reviews and team critiques, contributing ideas and learning from feedback
- Assist in preparing design presentations and documentation
What You'll Need
- 2-3 years of professional UI design experience (internships, academic projects, or freelance work welcome)
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design fundamentals and an understanding of visual design principles, UI layouts, and style consistency
- Expert proficiency with Figma or similar design tools
- Foundational understanding of typography, color theory, iconography, visual hierarchy, and layout principles
- Basic knowledge of usability and accessibility standards
- Functional literacy of design systems
- Familiarity with responsive design concepts
- Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback with a growth mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in or exposure to e-commerce or retail design
- Basic prototyping skills
- Understanding of common e-commerce patterns (product cards, listings, etc.)
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
- Exposure to prototyping, animation tools, or basic HTML/CSS knowledge
