Job Overview
Mizzen+Main is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Store Manager. Applicants should have a love for fashion and strong communication and sales skills. Hiring immediately.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Knowledgeable about Mizzen+Main's brand and products and represent the brand to the highest standards at all times
- Maintain a welcoming, cooperative work environment including efforts of team building and motivation for all staff
- Support in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Supervise associates engaged in sales, inventory, return/exchange transactions, or in performing services for customers
- Prepare weekly team schedules to ensure proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines. Review time sheets and other payroll documentation for accuracy and submits as appropriate
- Ensure all team members deliver consistent, excellent behavior in accordance with our standards
- Complete store operational requirements including inventory, store management and financial reporting
- Resolve customer service issues and requests in a manner that creates trust and respect for the brand
- Help plan and execute in store events in coordination with the Corporate team
- Maintain consistent and regular communication of business needs and sales updates including daily, weekly, & monthly forecasting to the District Manager
- Stay well-informed on events and promotional offers in-store and online, providing customers with a seamless shopping experience
- Manage keeping the stock room properly stocked, replenishing, folding, hanging, displaying and merchandising inventory
- Understand and follow all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous store management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in computer and tablet technology
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
- Work 5 days a week, including at least 1 day a weekend. Any store emergencies or fill in for absent employees are your responsibility, even if it conflicts with this schedule
