The IT Associate will report to IT Director.

Job Overview

This role presents a unique opportunity to work both technically and functionally with the information technology space, supporting a flexible and fast-paced business environment.  The IT Associate will be responsible for managing internal users and hardware configuration for main office users and all retail stores located across the country.  The IT associate must possess the capabilities to implement when needed and manage all system applications, including ERP administration.  The role must also work and align with business teams to provide innovative solutions and tools for improving company processes, and perform additional responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the primary IT help desk support function in the business.  This includes user access management (creation, changes and terminations), general user support for IT-related issues.
  • Maintain a control of hardware inventory and IT's fixed assets.
  • Work closely with IT service providers, to support users in the office and retail stores. 
  • Monitor and manage patches and OS updates as needed.
  • Interact with internal departments, developing internal processes and solutions to meet organizational objectives.
  • Develop system integrations and maintain existing ones, using the DellBoomi SaaS platform.
  • Support new-employee onboarding from an IT perspective.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding employee, company and customer information.
  • Stay abreast of system technology best practices and changing technologies for business technology enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
  • +2 years of experience in the area.
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn new programs to provide technical support.
  • Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and any form of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Experience with any ERP platform is a plus; experience with NetSuite is preferred.
  • Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting; experience with the Dell Boomi platform is a plus.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Experience with an omni-channel business is a plus.
  • Knowledge in at least one programming language.
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization.
  • Travel to Retail locations may be required to install new hardware.
