We are seeking a versatile professional to handle the physical installation and configuration of Unifi and Qolsys systems across multiple locations in Minnesota. Post-installation, you'll provide ongoing IT support for these systems, as well as Microsoft-based administration tasks. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Physically install Unifi UDM-Pro network equipment for WiFi networks and Unifi Protect security systems at client sites.
- Physically install Qolsys alarm systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Assist with on-site installation, wiring, configuration, and testing of equipment across multiple locations throughout Minnesota (travel required; company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided).
- Provide post-installation support and maintenance for Unifi network and security equipment, Qolsys alarm systems, and related IT ecosystems.
- Manage Microsoft Intune MDM (Mobile Device Management), including device enrollment, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a Microsoft systems administrator, handling Active Directory management, user provisioning/deprovisioning, and Microsoft licensing compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues, perform system updates, and ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in physical installation of network equipment (e.g., routers, switches, WiFi access points) and security systems (cameras, alarms). Direct experience with Unifi UDM-Pro, Unifi Protect, or equivalent systems is required.
- Hands-on experience installing alarm systems, including direct knowledge of Qolsys products.
- Solid understanding of IT support principles, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Intune MDM, Active Directory, user management, and licensing.
- Ability to travel extensively within Minnesota (valid driver's license and clean driving record required).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Unifi certifications, NICET for alarm systems, or network security certifications) are required.
- Physical ability to handle installation tasks, including lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs), climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
- Background in integrating security systems with IT networks or MDM solutions.
- Familiarity with automation scripting for IT administration tasks.
- Ability to commit to working in the office 100% of the time.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
- Minimum 21 years of age.

- Pay starts at $80,000 - $100,000 annually commensurate with experience
