Reporting to our Manager, People Analytics & Rewards, our People Operations Generalist will help support and refine our people operations. We are seeking a team member who loves details, is highly analytical, and will thrive in enhancing our overall People team. This position requires the ability to think strategically and provide exceptional experiences for internal team members.
You will
- Help manage MNTN’s People programs and ensure alignment with the company’s people-first culture and philosophy
- Process team member lifecycle changes such as; salary adjustments, manager, title and department changes in Rippling
- Provide support to current and former team members regarding benefits questions, claims, and issues
- Review and approve qualifying life events
- Assist with Open Enrollment planning, execution and team member education
- Conduct monthly audits of carrier invoices against Rippling records
- Determine Oregon PFL invoice amounts based on payroll data
- Coordinate with LOA vendor and payroll team to ensure accurate pay during team member leaves
- Respond to unemployment and disability claims in accordance with state guidelines and internal processes
- Send out reminders to team members to update demographics for 1095s, W2s, and emergency contacts
You have
- 4+ years of People Operations/Support experience
- 2+ years with HR Systems (Preferably Rippling)
- Experience working with 3rd party brokers
- 4+ years of experience with benefits and perks programs
- Advanced MS Excel skills like pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- A love of thinking about and executing on the details
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to think strategically and to translate directives into tactical initiatives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking acumen with an ability to make timely, effective, ethics-based decisions
- Must be humble, results-oriented, collaborative, and have a sense of humor and a strong EQ
- Track record in collecting and analyzing data, both qualitative and quantitative, to inform decisions
