We’re looking for a Principal Strategist, Ad Measurement, to join our Customer Success team at MNTN! This role owns advanced measurement strategy and performance validation in the CTV ecosystem, shaping how customers and internal teams evaluate and trust marketing outcomes. The Principal Strategist, Ad Measurement serves as a senior authority on incrementality, lift, and attribution, operating in complex, real-world advertising environments.

Partnering closely with Customer Success, Business Development, Engineering, and external measurement providers, this role influences high-impact customer decisions, informs MNTN’s point of view on CTV measurement, and translates customer learnings into scalable best practices and product insights. The impact extends beyond individual accounts, contributing to stronger measurement credibility, improved product capabilities, and long-term customer trust.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own best practices for advanced measurement and performance validation, including incrementality testing, lift studies, attribution, and experimental design within the CTV ecosystem.
  • Partner with Customer Success to design, evaluate, and interpret customer measurement approaches, guiding decisions around methodology, success criteria, and result interpretation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to customers, translating complex measurement results into clear, actionable business insights, while communicating confidence levels and limitations.
  • Lead internal and external enablement on measurement rigor and analytical best practices, elevating how teams and customers approach performance validation post-launch.
  • Contribute measurement-driven insights to go-to-market initiatives, including playbooks, positioning, and enablement materials.
  • Synthesize learnings across customer engagements to identify patterns and opportunities, informing product strategy and roadmap discussions with Product and Engineering.
  • Partner with external measurement vendors and internal Engineering teams to define and operationalize advanced measurement solutions and implementation guidance.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex post-launch measurement challenges, leading structured analysis when performance results are ambiguous or difficult to interpret.
  • Maintain expertise on the evolving CTV and AdTech measurement landscape, informing MNTN’s point of view on performance measurement.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in customer-facing solutions, product, analytics, or technical roles, with ownership over measurement strategy, performance validation, or complex analytical problem-solving.
  • Prior experience in AdTech, MarTech, or performance marketing, with direct exposure to incrementality testing, lift studies, attribution, or experimental measurement frameworks
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to translate complex technical and analytic concepts into clear, executive-ready recommendations.
  • A customer-centric mindset: Comfortable guiding customers through complex post-launch performance validation and optimization.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills: Proven ability to work with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external partners to drive customer outcomes.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented approach: Ability to identify performance gaps, troubleshoot challenges, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Familiarity with the CTV and performance marketing ecosystem, including measurement and attribution providers, is strongly preferred.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
