MNTN is looking for a high-impact Manager, Brand Direct Sales to lead, develop, and scale a team of Account Executives focused on the SMB segment. This is a frontline leadership role responsible for driving new business revenue, building a strong outbound culture, and coaching reps to succeed in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping how we go to market—owning team performance, refining sales motion, and partnering cross-functionally to unlock growth. This is an ideal opportunity for a proven sales leader who thrives on developing talent, building repeatable processes, and consistently exceeding targets.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives and Senior Account Executives, driving consistent attainment of team revenue targets
- Instill a strong outbound, hunter-driven culture focused on pipeline generation, velocity, and closing new business
- Own team pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and overall sales performance against quota
- Provide hands-on coaching across the full sales cycle (prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, close) to improve win rates and deal quality
- Partner with Sales Leadership to refine go-to-market strategy, territory planning, and segmentation within the SMB space
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to improve lead flow, onboarding, and customer outcomes
- Analyze team performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; implement process improvements to drive efficiency and scale
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent, while building a high-performance, accountable team culture
- Act as a voice of the field, providing feedback on product, positioning, and competitive dynamics
What Success Looks Like:
- Your team consistently meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Pipeline coverage and conversion rates improve under your leadership
- Reps ramp quickly, show clear development, and maintain high engagement and retention
- Forecasts are accurate and predictable
- You’ve helped build a repeatable, scalable SMB sales motion that drives efficient growth
- Strong cross-functional alignment leads to better customer onboarding and long-term value
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of SaaS/Media sales experience, and 3+ years in front-line manager roles
- Proven track record of leading quota-carrying teams to exceed revenue targets in a high-velocity, Mid Market focused environment
- Strong background in outbound-driven sales motions and pipeline generation strategies
- Experience selling AdTech/MarTech solutions, or into marketing and growth stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop early-to-mid career sales reps into top performers
- High proficiency in forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically—comfortable jumping into deals while building scalable processes
- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to influence cross-functional partners
