Sales Executive

United States

At MNTN, we put our people first, full stop. This allows our company culture to be defined by our team members and their shared values, like trust, ambition, quality, radical honesty, and compassionate leadership. It’s why we all really love working for the Hardest Working Software in Television™ (and also why we were named one of Ad Age’s Best Places To Work in 2026.)

We pride ourselves on bringing unrivaled performance and simplicity to Connected TV advertising. Our self-serve technology makes running TV ads as easy as search and social, helping brands drive measurable conversions, revenue, site visits, and more. It’s what led MNTN to being named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in 2023. You can learn more about us and everything we do by visiting https://mountain.com/.

We’re committed to innovation that empowers, not replaces. At MNTN, AI is a tool for growth, enhancing efficiency while keeping a people-first approach. Our goal is to streamline workflows and drive new solutions—without compromising the human element that makes our company great.

So if wanting to do more, own more, and make a bigger impact comes naturally to you, then you may be the person we're looking for to join us in our next stage of growth.

The best salespeople don't just sell software; they solve business problems.

As a Sales Executive at MNTN, you'll help advertisers unlock growth with Connected TV. We're hiring across multiple industry verticals, giving you the opportunity to become an expert in a specific market while owning the full sales cycle. You'll take the time to understand each customer's business, build trusted relationships, and show how MNTN can help them achieve their performance goals.

This isn't a high-volume transactional sales role. You'll focus on building relationships, running thoughtful discovery, and delivering a consultative buying experience that earns trust from the very first conversation. You'll work alongside a dedicated Customer Success Manager in a shared pod model, partnering from initial conversations through onboarding to set every customer up for long-term success. Together, you'll own a shared revenue target and help grow one of MNTN's fastest-growing customer segments. If you're energized by winning new business, curious about how companies grow, and excited to help shape the future of performance TV advertising, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle for new advertisers within your assigned vertical, building trusted relationships from first conversation through close.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities by combining strategic prospecting, inbound demand, referrals, and deep knowledge of your vertical.
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand a prospect's business goals, marketing strategy, and growth opportunities.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and recommendations that clearly connect MNTN's platform to customer objectives.
  • Become a trusted advisor by staying current on digital advertising, Connected TV, and performance marketing trends.
  • Partner closely with your Customer Success Manager to ensure every new customer launches successfully and has a strong foundation for long-term growth.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene while leveraging AI, Salesforce, and modern sales tools to work efficiently.
  • Share customer feedback, competitive insights, and ideas that help improve our sales process, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently meet or exceed new business bookings goals while maintaining healthy pipeline coverage.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities that progresses efficiently through the sales cycle with accurate forecasting.
  • Deliver a consultative buying experience that earns the trust of prospects and creates lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner seamlessly with your Customer Success Manager to ensure new customers realize value quickly and are positioned for long-term growth.
  • Contribute ideas that improve how MNTN sells, helping evolve our playbooks, processes, and customer experience.

What You'll Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in a full-cycle closing role, preferably in CTV, SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, or another consultative B2B sales environment.
  • A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding new business sales quotas.
  • Strong prospecting skills and the discipline to build a pipeline through strategic outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, and thoughtful account planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build credibility and influence decision-makers.
  • Experience using Salesforce, sales engagement platforms, AI tools, and other modern sales technology to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
  • A solid understanding of digital advertising, performance marketing, or media buying concepts is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into compelling business outcomes.
  • A builder mindset, you thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace feedback, and enjoy helping shape how great sales organizations scale.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
