At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership. Duties: The Machine Learning Scientist IV at GoDaddy.com, LLC in Kirkland, Washington will leverage Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithms to empower business results to boost growth across multiple products and business units. Design, lead, and own high-impact Artificial Intelligence projects in production by owning project lifecycles, collaborating with stakeholders, developing design documents, and project planning. Lead cross-functional teams in various agile ceremonies, set project milestones, and drive alignment to ensure successful implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions that meet business objectives. Design, initiate and conduct experimental initiatives and tests, embracing calculated risks to explore innovative solutions, and leverage findings to drive continuous improvement and problem solving within the organization.  Lead development cycle for sophisticated and novel solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address business challenges, deliver scalable solutions that drive tangible results, and drive innovation in the field. Utilize in-depth knowledge of distributed systems, cloud computing, and big data processing tools and platforms, including Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes, Airflow, and various tools available in AWS to design and deploy scalable data processing pipelines, ensuring efficient data management and analysis across diverse environments. Utilize foundational understanding of GoDaddy customer behavior to propose and implement pipeline, process, and model updates aimed at enhancing key metrics and driving positive business impact. Assess and optimize efficacy of existing solutions, analyze customer data trends, and understand pipeline performance. Participate in interview process for AI science candidates. Telecommuting permissible.

Salary: GoDaddy's compensation may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The annual base salary range is $138,000-$207,000 per year.

Location:  Kirkland, WA

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computational Data Science, Computer Science, or related field plus 2 years of experience as a data scientist, software engineer, or related occupation. Experience must include 2 years of experience with each of the following: (1) developing computer programs in Python, SQL, and Spark; (2) performing research and innovation to resolve problems with Machine Learning problems; (3) building, designing and testing machine and deep learning models; (4) data analytics and visualization tools including Jupyter, Notebooks, Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, or Seaborn; and (5) cloud technologies including AWS or BigQuery.
