Senior Manager – Software Development

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Duties: The Senior Manager – Software Development at GoDaddy.com, LLC in Tempe, Arizona will build and lead a team of software engineers and participate in DevOps and release activities in support of team’s services. Build valuable connections across all GoDaddy to foster an environment of excellence in agile software execution through continuous improvement of team’s process and tools. Coordinate with partner teams in designing services that meet customer needs across multiple verticals and varying levels of business maturity. Research, design, develop and test software that meets operational specifications, as determined by conducting requirements analysis. Design and implement software across each application tier, including front-end work as well as system-level, software-as-a-service applications for use internally and externally. Use C#, C++, Java, and SQL experience to design, develop, debug, test and fix low level and high level software systems. Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan installation of new systems and/or system modifications. Write web applications and web services including ASP.Net, and JavaScript. Design, implement, and maintain large scale REST API based service endpoints. Utilize experience with AngularJS, HTML5, GitHub, Jenkins, NUnit, DNS, web services, MongoDB, Protractor, and Bootstrap. Telecommuting permissible.

Salary: GoDaddy's compensation may vary based on an individual's qualifications at the time of the offer. The annual base salary range is $188,672 - $267,500 per year.

Location: Tempe, AZ

Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related degree, plus five years of experience as a software developer or related occupation. Five years of experience, must include five years of experience in each of the following: (1) C#, C++, or Java; (2) Designing, developing, debugging, testing and fixing software systems; (3) writing web applications and web services including ASP.Net, and JavaScript; (4) Agile development methodologies. Must also have two years of SQL experience and experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large scale REST API based service endpoints. Must have 6 months of experience with AngularJS, HTML5, GitHub, Jenkins, NUnit, DNS, web services, MongoDB, Protractor, and Bootstrap.
