About The Role
Mochi Health is seeking experienced, independent providers who are passionate about obesity medicine and building long-term relationships with patients. As a rapidly growing startup expanding across multiple states, we provide a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to obesity care. This role is ideal for physicians looking to practice evidence-based obesity medicine in a flexible, telemedicine-first environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide virtual consultations to patients managing obesity and metabolic health conditions.
- Prescribe and manage GLP-1 medications and other obesity treatments.
- Utilize our custom-built EMR designed for longitudinal obesity care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nutritionists, genetic counselors, and prior authorization specialists.
- Stay updated with the latest clinical research through our monthly academic lecture series (optional).
- Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care in a flexible, telemedicine setting.
Who You Are
- MD/DO with current board certification (preferably in Endocrinology, Bariatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Medicine).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in obesity medicine and/or endocrinology.
- DABOM certification (optional, but preferred).
- 1+ year of experience prescribing GLP-1 medications.
- 1+ year of telemedicine experience (comfortable on-camera using video chat).

Providers will be compensated via a capitated payment model based on the size of their patient caseload.
Workplace Policy
Mochi Health is an in-person company for roles based in our San Francisco, CA and Kirkland, WA offices. Our team works together in person five days a week to foster collaboration, innovation, and strong connections. We believe that face-to-face interaction builds a culture of excellence and allows us to deliver the best outcomes for the patients and providers we serve.
For office-based roles, the standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Actual hours may vary depending on business needs and role responsibilities. All employees receive meal and rest breaks in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
For designated remote roles, this in-person policy does not apply.
