Senior Registered Veterinary Technician - LA Flex

In this unique position, you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple Modern Animal clinics, sharing your expertise and collaborating with diverse teams. As a key player in our clinics, you’ll provide top-tier medical care, serve as a resource for best practices, and help shape the future of veterinary medicine at Modern Animal—all while enjoying the benefits of a full-time role.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Utilizing your RVT license to the highest level by supporting medical activities across multiple clinics in your area.
- Acting as a "center of excellence," providing high-quality care in diverse settings.
- Recording accurate medical records with appropriate veterinary terminology and performing lab work, radiology, and medical calculations with a deep understanding of veterinary pharmacology.
- Logging controlled medications and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Collaborating closely with DVMs and team members to support daily tasks, maintain smooth clinic operations, and ensure exceptional patient care.
- Communicating discharge instructions with pet owners, offering clarity and compassion in all interactions.
- Traveling to various clinics within your designated area as needed, with flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and priorities. Designated clinic clusters include:
- Valley: Los Feliz, Encino, Glendale, Studio City, and Pasadena
- South Bay: Manhattan Beach, Playa Vista, Culver City, and Long Beach
- Westside: Santa Monica, Playa Vista, Culver City, and West LA
- Canyon: West Hollywood, La Brea, and Downtown LA*
- Orange County: Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach
- *Downtown LA could be included in other clusters depending on candidate’s homebase

Why You’d Be a Great Fit:
- Successfully completed the VTNE and hold an active RVT license in the state of California.
- 3+ years of veterinary experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated advanced skills in surgery, anesthesia, and complex medical procedures.

The pay range for this position is $32 - $38 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
