ModMed is hiring a driven RCM Presales Solutions Consultant to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Sales team. As an RCM Presales Solutions Consultant, you play a critical role in driving successful sales outcomes by leading technical and operational discovery, designing customized RCM solutions, and articulating clear return on investment to key stakeholders. With deep subject matter expertise in ambulatory Revenue Cycle Management, you act as the strategic bridge between client needs and ModMed’s RCM and Practice Management product capabilities.

You possess advanced knowledge of RCM workflows—including front-end eligibility, charge capture, coding, claim management, payment posting, denial management, and collections—along with a strong understanding of ModMed’s PM platform, integrated partner solutions, and competing offerings in the market. This expertise allows you to confidently engage with executive leaders, billing teams, and operational staff to uncover business challenges and design solutions that improve financial performance.

Your core responsibilities include facilitating discovery conversations, conducting RCM workflow assessments, responding to RFPs, delivering compelling solution demonstrations, and collaborating on strategic sales presentations. By aligning ModMed’s capabilities with the client’s goals—such as improving net collection rates, reducing days in A/R, or automating key billing processes—you ensure every proposed solution is feasible, impactful, and differentiated.

In this role, you also contribute to broader sales enablement efforts by developing data-driven insights, ROI models, and tailored content that reflects evolving market trends. You are a go-to resource for the RCM sales organization and frequently partner with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure ongoing alignment between what we sell and what we deliver.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, or 10+ years of combined experience in revenue cycle operations, medical billing, or practice administration, ideally within the ambulatory healthcare setting.

Your Role:

  • Partner with ModMed Sales focusing on our Strategic and Enterprise segments in a one-to-many model, providing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and financial/practice management expertise to prospects and clients as they evaluate our PM + RCM solutions. Help shape solution strategy by aligning client financial performance goals with ModMed’s differentiated offerings.
  • Lead business and functional discovery sessions with key stakeholders—including practice administrators, billing managers, and financial executives—to uncover RCM pain points (e.g., denial rates, days in A/R, low net collections) and understand each client’s operational objectives and challenges. Build credibility and influence early in the sales process
  • Compose and deliver superior sales presentations and live demonstrations of ModMed’s Practice Management and RCM solutions. Tailor messaging to address RCM-specific goals, articulate ROI, and differentiate ModMed through financial impact and workflow optimization. Audiences may include billing teams, practice management, and clinical leadership.
  • Leverage cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Implementation, Customer Success, and Marketing—to ensure solution feasibility and alignment across the RCM lifecycle. Advocate for client needs while balancing strategic business priorities
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert (SME) in ambulatory RCM, mentoring peers, contributing to demo and content refinement, and sharing market feedback to influence product and go-to-market strategy.
  • Support RFPs, ROI analysis, and strategic sales content by contributing RCM data points, financial modeling, and competitive insights that demonstrate ModMed’s impact on revenue cycle performance.
  • Complete all required company training, and stay up-to-date on relevant ModMed products and services
  • Enter appropriate information into Salesforce.com in a timely manner
  • As required, represent ModMed at trade shows and other approved events

Skills & Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration/management, Medical Billing Specialist, or Accounting is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer and/or 10+ combined years of experience in financial practice management/administration with ModMed Practice Management or competing solutions
  • Has expert knowledge of ModMed Practice Management and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) portfolio to demonstrate many/all products within at least three(3) medical specialties in order to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories
  • Mastery of navigating remote presentations (Google Meet, QuickTime, Reflector, Figma)
  • Able to lead demonstrations, presentations, and  discovery sessions across all segments (Key, Strategic, Enterprise) with minimal support from leadership
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate at a C-Suite level
  • Prioritizes tasks and manages time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-bound environment
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
