ModMed is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager, Release Train Engineer (RTE) to drive Agile Release Train (ART) execution, optimize value delivery, and enable continuous improvement at scale. This role is pivotal in orchestrating PI Planning, streamlining dependencies, and ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Your Role:
- Lead and coach Scrum Masters and teams to deliver on PI objectives with measurable impact.
- Optimize the flow of value across the ART using Kanban, dashboards, and other information radiators.
- Own ART ceremonies: PI Planning, ART syncs, Inspect & Adapt, and System Demos.
- Translate Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and ensure visibility across the organization.
- Drive cross-team alignment with Product Management, Solution Management, and Architecture to maintain execution–strategy fit.
- Manage and escalate risks, dependencies, and impediments to keep delivery on track.
- Facilitate collaboration across distributed teams, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
- Guide adoption of DevOps practices, Release on Demand, and Lean UX across the value stream.
- Implement metrics and reporting that measure ART health, predictability, and throughput.
- Champion Agile practices and continuous improvement, raising the ART’s agility maturity.
- Partner with leadership to shape roadmaps, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Act as a thought leader and mentor, helping to evolve the Program Management and Agile practices within ModMed.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- 7+ years as a Program Manager, RTE, or Delivery Lead with direct experience leading large-scale agile programs.
- Advanced knowledge of SAFe; SAFe RTE, SASM, or Leading SAFe certifications strongly preferred.
- Proven success coaching agile teams, scaling frameworks, and driving enterprise transformation.
- Strong technical grounding in software development and IT delivery environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar ALM tools; experience building value-stream metrics and dashboards.
- Ability to influence at all levels (teams to ELT), resolve complex dependencies, and align execution with business outcomes.
- Exceptional skills in facilitation, problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
Please note: This role is based at our HQ in Boca Raton, FL. We offer a hybrid work environment (3 days in office / 2 days remote).
