People Experience & Transportation Specialist (Night Shift)

The People Experience & Transportation Specialist (Night Shift) is a critical role that directly embodies our Core Value: Create customer delight for our rapidly expanding night-shift team (growing from 500 to over 1000 Modernizers). About the Role
This position provides essential, end-to-end operational oversight for our Hyderabad night-shift employees. You will be the trusted advocate and operational backbone for our team during these hours, ensuring safety, reliability, and an engaging environment that allows our Modernizers to save time and focus on their critical work.
Key Responsibilities: Innovate Boldly, Then Make Things Happen
1. Safe & Reliable Night Transportation Oversight
- Manage the daily coordination of all employee cab services, ensuring a punctual, safe, and high-quality journey for all night-shift Modernizers.
- Monitor real-time routing, shift changes, and vehicle availability, swiftly resolving any immediate routing issues, delays, or employee escalations.
- Compliance Focus: Ensure strict adherence to India labor laws for late-evening transportation, with a primary focus on safety protocols and mandatory escort/GPS requirements for women employees.
2. Strategic Vendor Management & Quality
- Serve as the primary night-shift operational contact for transport vendors and drivers, fostering a professional, accountable partnership.
- Oversee GPS compliance, vehicle standards, and vendor staffing to ensure service-level adherence and quality.
- Accurately review and validate vendor invoices and billing against service agreements to ensure financial efficiency and transparency.
3. Enhancing People Experience & Night-Shift Workplace
- The Delight Factor: Coordinate catering, snack provisions, pantry supplies, and overall workplace comfort, ensuring a welcoming and energized environment.
- Support and execute night-shift engagement events, recognition activities, and People Experience (PX) initiatives, helping to Align passion with purpose across the team.
- Partner seamlessly with the Office Manager to maintain a consistent, positive workplace experience across all shifts.
- Actively collect and analyze feedback to continuously strengthen the night-shift employee journey.
4. India Travel & Visitor Coordination
- Facilitate domestic and international travel logistics for India-based Modernizers, ensuring smooth, compliant arrangements.
- Coordinate with the U.S. Corporate Travel team for bookings, accommodations, and documentation (e.g., visa letters).
5. Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate operational data (employee addresses, routing maps, transport dashboards).
- Prepare operational reports, cost analyses, and performance metrics, always looking for opportunities to Think big and improve routing efficiency, vendor performance, and employee delight.
Qualifications and Success Profile
- Experience: 5+ years of demonstrable experience in transportation coordination, facilities, or People Experience roles, ideally within a multinational or BPO/IT environment operating night shifts.
- Skills: Exceptional vendor management, proactive problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with route management tools, GPS systems, and data analysis (Excel/Google Sheets).
- Mindset: The ability to work independently, maintain energy during night-shift hours, and make sound, time-sensitive decisions under pressure.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication is essential; proficiency in Hindi and/or Telugu is highly preferred.
- Cultural Fit: Experience in successfully running employee engagement or workplace support programs, demonstrating a passion for enhancing employee well-being.
