The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:

Moloco is hiring a People Partner to serve as the primary People Team member in Seattle, focused on enabling people managers and employees to thrive. You’ll be a trusted advisor for all things people: coaching managers on feedback and team performance, and supporting employee transitions such as onboarding, internal transfers, and exits.

You’ll partner closely with U.S.-based People Partners, who support senior leadership, and collaborate with teams across Legal, Total Rewards, and L&D to scale best-in-class practices globally. You’ll also take the lead on key lifecycle moments including performance improvement, employee relations, investigations, transfers, and offboarding, ensuring consistency, fairness, and care.

This role is perfect for someone who loves building manager capability, thrives in dynamic environments, and brings a calm, clear presence to both day-to-day and high-stakes people challenges.

The Opportunity:

  • People Partnership with Managers and Employees
    • Serve as the go-to HR partner for managers and employees in Seattle and across North America
    • Coach managers through employee development, team dynamics, internal transfers, and feedback conversations to build confidence and capability
Provide guidance and support through performance and behavior issues, ensuring alignment with our culture and values
    • Partner with U.S. People Partners to drive consistency across regional practices and align on policy implementation

  • Employee Lifecycle Ownership and Compliance
    • Own delivery of key lifecycle moments: onboarding, internal transfers, leaves of absence, and exits
    • Build manager readiness and alignment for each transition, ensuring employees are supported and processes run smoothly
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to ensure high-quality onboarding experiences and early check-ins tied to quality-of-hire feedback and interventions
    • Advise on compliance and legal considerations related to transfers, role changes, accommodations, and separations
    • Conduct exit interviews and identify trends to improve both the employee experience and manager practices

  • Employee Relations and Performance Coaching
    • Manage employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion, partnering with Legal where needed
    • Guide managers through all stages of performance improvement plans, investigations, and sensitive people decisions
    • Deliver tailored coaching and resources to help managers lead effectively during periods of change or conflict
    • Standardize documentation and guidance around internal movements and transfers, ensuring fairness and transparency

  • Seattle Culture and Community
    • Partner with Workplace Ops and site leadership to build a strong, inclusive, and connected Seattle office culture
    • Be a trusted voice of the Seattle employee experience, surfacing feedback to inform company-wide People initiatives

  • Manager Enablement and Team Capability Building
    • Create and deliver toolkits, workshops, and learning experiences that support manager development in areas like performance conversations, employee relations, and internal mobility
    • Help codify scalable processes for lifecycle moments, especially those involving manager touchpoints like internal transfers and exits

  • Program Support and Talent Process Execution
    • Partner with People Partners and COE teams to support key People programs including performance ratings, promotion decisions, compensation conversations, and talent reviews
    • Support planning and implementation of retention and engagement programs, including employee surveys, feedback loops, and follow-up action planning
    • Assist managers in identifying team-specific engagement risks and develop proactive support strategies
    • Provide operational and coaching support to help managers prepare for and navigate talent planning cycles
    • Act as a process and policy resource to ensure decisions are made with consistency, equity, and clarity
    • Help track program effectiveness and surface feedback to inform continuous improvement

How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?

  • 6-10+ years in a People Generalist, HRBP, or Employee Relations role, ideally in high-growth or global tech environments
  • Demonstrated success coaching and advising people managers on team performance, transitions, conflict resolution, and employee engagement
  • Experience managing employee relations cases, performance issues, internal mobility, and onboarding interventions
  • Strong understanding of U.S. employment law, HR compliance practices, and equitable lifecycle management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities with calm and clarity
