Kao is committed to ensuring equal opportunities across all its activities, including an inclusive candidate recruitment and hiring process.
As part of the recruitment process you may be asked to share some diversity data on a voluntary basis: namely your gender, ethnicity and whether you have a disability. Please note you are under no obligation to provide such data, and this would make no impact on your application.
In addition, Kao will have no visibility of this data, meaning that, if you have answered the diversity questions, your answers will never appear on your application or affect your application in any way. Kao will only see periodical reports that are anonymous and aggregated to understand the general diversity of our candidate pool; we will not be able to identify you from these reports.
We collect diversity data to ensure we create a fair recruitment process for all our candidates. We only monitor diversity data to promote equal opportunities, such as identifying potentially ineffective processes and improving our practices.
If you choose to provide this diversity data, your answers will be collected by our trusted recruitment platform, Greenhouse, and it is Greenhouse who will provide Kao with the anonymised reports. Greenhouse will only collect this information for the purpose outlined above and will never share this information with anyone else.
