About the role

As our first dedicated Content Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing narrative across all channels. Your role encompasses crafting high-impact marketing campaigns and providing strategic copywriting support across multiple teams beyond just marketing - from sales and support to partnerships and internal communications. With your strategic mindset and storytelling abilities, you'll deeply understand Momence's product, audience, and competitive landscape to create compelling messaging that resonates with the experience economy and business owners, including SMBs, multi-location, and franchise businesses. You'll be instrumental in driving both our inbound and outbound marketing efforts, ensuring our content not only captures attention but also drives meaningful engagement and conversions. Through your work, you'll help establish and strengthen Momence's voice in the market while supporting our broader business objectives.


At Momence, a Content Marketing Manager will drive impact across several key areas:

  • Cross-Team Copywriting & Enablement: You'll be the storytelling backbone across teams, crafting compelling content that enables our colleagues to succeed. This includes developing sales enablement materials, creating support documentation, building partnership collateral, and contributing to product copywriting that enhances user experience throughout the platform.
  • Marketing Campaign Development & Execution: Working closely with our Brand Designer and Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you'll develop and execute performance marketing campaigns that drive results. You'll create targeted outbound campaigns, build engaging landing pages and workflows, and optimize all content for maximum visibility and conversion.
  • Content Strategy & Social Media: You'll own our social media presence, working with our Brand Designer to create visually compelling content that aligns with Momence's voice. This includes developing content that resonates with our audience, actively engaging with our community, and using performance insights to continuously refine our strategy.

This is a full time, fully remote, employed position, for which we’re considering candidates residing in and authorized to work in the United States.

About you

You thrive at the intersection of creativity and strategy, finding joy in crafting messages that resonate with business owners in the experience economy. You're energized by the prospect of being our first dedicated content marketer, ready to build and shape our content strategy from the ground up. You understand the unique challenges faced by studio, gym, and wellness centre owners, and you're excited to create content that speaks directly to their needs.


What you should have

While we welcome experience from a wide range of career and industry backgrounds, all candidates should meet the following qualifications for consideration:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, content strategy, or copywriting, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and campaign execution
  • Excellent writing abilities across various formats and audiences
  • Data-driven approach to content strategy and optimization
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work autonomously


About the interview process

Our hiring process allows thorough and accurate review of each candidate’s fitness for the role, while offering candidates plenty of opportunity to ask questions and learn more about Momence along the way. All applications are reviewed by a real person (👋!). If progressed to the interview stage, here’s what you can expect:

  • A 30-minute intro call with a Momence recruiter to learn more about your background, discuss fit for the role, and answer high-level questions you may have
  • A 45-minute call with your would-be manager, Emily, to dig in with more detail on your skills and experience
  • A brief exercise to be completed on your own time, to assess your marketing and content / copywriting skills
  • A 1 hour and 30-minute final interview call with Emily and a few members from the team
