About the role
Momence is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead our marketing function across strategy, execution, team leadership, and performance. This is a hands-on leadership role with scope across demand generation, brand, and go-to-market alignment.
You’ll join at an exciting stage of growth, inheriting a capable team and strong foundation to build on. We’re looking for someone who can bring clarity, focus, and strong execution to our marketing engine — improving what’s already working, identifying new opportunities, and helping marketing drive measurable business growth.
You will directly lead and develop a team including a Senior Performance Marketer, Content Marketing Manager, Brand Designer, and two Marketing Associates. Current channels include website inbound, paid acquisition, and email nurture/drip campaigns.
In this role, you will:
- Own Momence’s marketing strategy and roadmap in line with company growth and revenue goals
- Lead demand generation across inbound, paid, lifecycle, and emerging acquisition channels
- Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Customer Success to support a strong go-to-market motion
- Translate pipeline and growth targets into clear marketing priorities, programs, and metrics
- Strengthen Momence’s brand positioning, messaging, and market presence
- Use data to improve funnel performance, channel efficiency, and decision-making
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary marketing team
- Help evolve team structure, ownership, and operating rhythms as the company grows
- Represent Marketing as a strategic partner in executive and cross-functional discussions
This is a full-time, exempt, remote role for which we’re considering qualified candidates from any location in the United States.
About You
You’re a thoughtful, hands-on marketing leader who knows how to connect strategy with execution. You’re comfortable owning demand generation outcomes, shaping brand direction, and building strong cross-functional partnerships.
You’ve likely worked in B2B SaaS and growth-stage environments before, and you’re excited by the opportunity to build on an existing foundation while helping take the function to the next level.
What you should have
While we welcome experience from a range of backgrounds, the ideal candidate for this role will be able to speak to and/or demonstrate the following:
- 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing marketing teams
- Experience leading or owning marketing within a B2B SaaS company
- Demonstrated ownership of demand generation and pipeline outcomes
- Experience managing teams across performance, content, brand, and campaign execution
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, systems, and reporting
- Experience partnering closely with Sales and Revenue Operations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in startup or growth-stage environments
What’ll really impress us
We expect many candidates will bring strong relevant experience. These are the additional qualities that will help someone stand out:
- Experience scaling customer acquisition in a low-to-mid ACV SaaS environment
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, and lifecycle marketing
- Experience evolving a brand as a company grows
- A strong builder mindset, with good judgment on where to test, simplify, and scale
- Experience in information technology SaaS or vertical SaaS
