Sales & Activation Manager

THE ROLE
As the Sales & Activation Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of pre-sale campaigns, events, and community engagement strategies to drive new member acquisition across studio openings. You’ll also oversee virtual assistant (VA) sales teams, local partnerships, and market activation strategy to ensure consistent brand delivery. This role is critical in building studio awareness and sales pipelines before launch and supporting long-term growth across both SweatHouz and STRONG markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Manage and mentor a team of Sales Virtual Assistants (VAs) responsible for outreach, lead generation, CRM updates, and follow-up.
- Set and monitor VA KPIs (e.g., leads, conversions, show rates) and use data to optimize performance.
- Partner with studio teams during pre-sale to drive tours, sales, and outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to launch geo-targeted ads, content, and promotions.
Event Activation & Community Engagement
- Plan and execute pre-sale events, grand openings, and local brand activations.
- Develop local business and influencer partnerships to increase brand awareness.
- Represent the brand at local events and serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for execution.
Studio & Team Support
- Lead weekly pre-sale studio check-ins to maintain sales momentum and accountability.
- Train GMs and studio teams on grassroots sales tactics, outreach tools, and event setup.
- Act as a sales and activation subject matter expert across markets, supporting new studio launches.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work with Operations and Marketing to ensure alignment on programming, logistics, and branding.
- Assist in documentation and playbook creation to support scalable, repeatable activations across markets.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership based on conversion rates, event ROI, and outreach effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years in a field sales, marketing, events, or brand activation role; multi-location experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead sales campaigns and coordinate large-scale community events.
- Experience managing or training distributed teams, including virtual or contract resources.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and a proactive, self-starter mentality.
- Passion for health and wellness, with the ability to authentically connect with diverse communities.
- Willingness to travel regularly across local markets to support studio launches and events.

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually
Travel: Local travel to our locations/markets
