Marketing Manager

New York, New York, United States

FULL-TIME | NYC (IN-PERSON)

Job Title: Marketing Manager

About Moment

Moment is modernizing the largest asset class in the world.

Founded in 2022 by former fixed income quants at leading prop shops, Moment is already the leading fixed income infrastructure provider for global fintechs, traditional brokerages, wealth platforms, and RIAs.

Fixed income has evolved rapidly. Electronic trading volume has nearly doubled in the past three years. Retail fixed income volume has exploded—up more than 1500% in just two years. But the wealth space is largely still confined to legacy tech that doesn’t meet its needs anymore.

That’s where Moment comes in. In weeks—not months or years—we enable customers to launch a seamless, modern fixed income solution through a simple set of APIs across:

  • Data & Analytics
  • Automated Execution
  • Automated Portfolio Optimization & Management

Most startups work their way up from small businesses. We did the opposite. In just a year, we've scaled to over $3 trillion in assets—and we’re just getting started. Backed by $56M+ from top-tier investors, our team is sharp, humble, ridiculously fast, and genuinely fun to work with. We’re growing like crazy. We’re looking for the best. Come build with us.

The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, versatile, action-oriented marketing manager with strong writing skills and event planning experience to join our growing team and build the foundation of how we communicate who we are by crafting compelling marketing materials, developing deep customer insights, and executing high-impact events to strengthen our market presence.

This is a high-ownership role that sits at the intersection of product marketing, customer strategy, and field marketing. You’ll work directly with our go-to-market, product, and leadership teams to craft clear, compelling stories around what we’re building, who we’re building for, and how we show up in the world. You’ll also lead the charge on planning and executing client-facing events and industry conference activations that strengthen our brand and deepen client relationships. A successful person for this role is a strong communicator, has a very strong bias for action, and has a strong instinct for marketing and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

Own 0-1 initiatives around positioning, product marketing, and customer storytelling

    1. Craft crisp, compelling content across customer collateral, website copy, pitch decks, product one-pagers, and more
    2. Build frameworks and develop compelling narratives around how we talk about our product to different audiences while ensuring consistency across channels
    3. Translate complex use cases and technical products into clear, client-facing value
    4. Help lead product marketing initiatives including internal and external launch comms as we scale
    5. Lead execution of customer case studies materials that include drafting material for the website and collateral based on testimonials and data we collect from joint PR with customers.
    6. Be able to pull together content for the website and any joint PR or comms efforts regarding Moment’s position in the industry, the customers we serve, and our products

Deepen our understanding of our ICP and market and support sales enablement

    1. Build our knowledge base around how we communicate about our platform, our understandings and approach to our different segments and personas, etc.
    2. Conduct persona research to map out our ideal customer profiles and drive more targeted messaging
    3. Plug into deal cycles to learn firsthand what matters most to our prospects and customers
    4. Work cross-functionally with the sales and product teams to identify messaging gaps and build better narratives that resonate
    5. Analyze customer feedback to refine messaging and positioning
    6. Help stand up the system for ensuring all GTM hires current and future are appropriately onboarded on how to talk about our platform and win in market

Contribute wherever great marketing is needed

    1. Create branded templates and materials for internal and external use
    2. Support sales enablement by designing decks and one-pagers
    3. Write occasional blog posts or LinkedIn content on behalf of the team
    4. Jump in on cross-functional initiatives that need great writing and sharp thinking
    5. Help plan or run private or semi-private salon dinners and lunches for clients and prospective clients
    6. Lean in on strategy and execution for our presence at key conferences (e.g., Fixed Income Leadership Summit, Tiburon, etc.)

What we’re looking for

  • 4-8 years of experience in marketing, ideally with exposure to product marketing or startup GTM work
  • Strong writing skills—you can distill the signal from the noise and communicate clearly across contexts
  • Taste and judgment—you know what good looks like and have a high bar for content, design, and execution
  • Great project management—you’re organized, detail-oriented, and can drive multiple work streams forward at once
  • High-context thinking—you can learn quickly, operate with nuance, and understand our clients’ world
  • Bias toward action—you like to move fast, get things done, and aren’t afraid to build from zero
  • Relationship builder—you enjoy collaborating across functions and making things happen with and through others
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS is required, experience with financial services, capital markets, wealth and asset management and enterprise sales is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, the salary range is $120,000-$155,000. Actual compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and interview performance.

In addition to a competitive salary and equity package, we provide every employee with:

  • Grow into the leader you aspire to be. At a fast-growing company in an expanding industry, you can enjoy career growth.
  • Comprehensive wellness package, providing top-notch health, dental, and vision coverage with 100% company reimbursement for most plans.
  • Competitive compensation, top-notch gym stipends ($150), and equity into the company.
  • Flexible PTO policy that people actually use — on average, people take three weeks off per year.
  • 401k with employer match (4%) to help you save for your future.
  • Paid lunches in the office, every day through Uber Eats and a free UberOne membership ($25/meal).
