The Role 

We’re looking for a high-initiative People Operations Associate to own the systems, rituals, and touchpoints that shape the team’s experience at Moment, from candidate experience and onboarding to team events and culture-building.

You’ll be the heartbeat of the office and a central player in ensuring Moment remains a place where people feel energized, supported, and connected. This role blends operations, people experience, and recruiting support and is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, is obsessed with creating great systems, and wants to grow into a career in People, Talent, or Culture.

Responsibilities

People Experience & Culture

  • Design and run initiatives that build connection, boost morale, and reinforce team values (e.g., team happy hours, new hire dinners, milestone celebrations, quarterly offsites, and our holiday party).
  • Help develop scalable rituals and systems for culture-building as the company grows.
  • Manage swag distribution, team celebrations, and internal communications around key cultural moments. 

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Own candidate scheduling and in-office visit coordination, ensuring a thoughtful and efficient experience.
  • Partner with the People team on sourcing and candidate pipeline management.
  • Manage onboarding logistics (IT setup, building access, lunch benefits, welcome gifts), and help create a consistent, welcoming Day 1 experience.
  • Support offboarding as needed with care and discretion.

People Ops Projects

  • Own lightweight office and operational logistics that support the broader employee experience: e.g., office supplies, snack and lunch coordination, the occasional Costco run, or coordinating equipment returns.
  • Maintain internal systems for expense approvals, budget tracking, and policy updates (working closely with the Chief of Staff).
  • Support cross-functional people-focused projects (e.g., launching new benefits programs or internal communications system

Events & Engagement

  • Lead the planning and logistics for both internal team events and external customer dinners or community activations.
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and marketing as needed to ensure alignment with Moment’s brand and values.
  • Support the production of offsites and summits with a focus on user experience.

  • You’re excited about building systems from scratch and being the kind of person others love working with.

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, the salary range is $80,000-$110,000. Actual compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and interview performance.
