Position Summary:
Momentous is looking for a CRM and Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing Team to support our retention strategy and execution. We’re looking for someone who has experience managing email marketing programs and SMS programs, optimizing program performance through testing and possesses strong reporting acumen. This position reports to the Retention Director and will collaborate cross-departmentally to optimize the current retention ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is scrappy with a bias towards action, always willing to roll up your sleeves to get the work done. The role requires someone who is self-motivated, loves data, and creative thinking. This person should be passionate about email and SMS programs, and maintain a pulse on trends and new ideas. This role supports Momentous’ mission of democratizing high performance by supporting new and long-term customers along their healthspan journey through intuitive communications.
Responsibilities:
- Own email marketing calendar (in partnership with Retention Director)
○ Build, QC, gain approval, and schedule email and SMS campaigns - Help devise new ways to test and optimize existing campaigns and flows
- Monitor and report on program performance
○ Support weekly reporting needs
○ Identify trends and share recommendations - Partner with Editorial, Social and Creative teams to devise new campaigns and maintain synergy across channels
- Participate in strategic planning to evolve our retention program
- Proactive collaboration with the Customer Experience Team to ensure a best-in-class customer experience
- Quick to troubleshoot and resolve any issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- 4-6 years of demonstrated success experience working in email and SMS marketing, subscription model preferred
- Experience working directly in Klaviyo and/or Attentive
- Strong Excel and reporting background
- Bias towards action (progress over perfection) with a passion for the unique ways to capture our customers’ attention and proactively support their needs
- Comfortable doing work in the trenches while still maintaining a strategic perspective
- Great communication and collaboration skills to work effectively cross-functionally
