Position Summary:

The Finance intern will be fully integrated into the day-to-day activities of the Finance team. You will play a contributory role supporting operations and analysis of the financial performance of the business. This position offers an excellent opportunity for gaining hands-on experience in finance within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a leading Human Performance company and creator of innovative supplements products, Momentous ships over 750K packages annually direct to consumer households through our Ecommerce platforms. This internship will support key initiatives to optimize our pricing and cost structures across the US and Globally.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and operational data from multiple systems and provide recommendations to increase profitability across Momentous products
  • Support with revenue and customer cohort forecasting for the Ecommerce channel in partnership with FP&A and Ecommerce teams
  • Conduct research on industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Support in the collection and organization of Accounts Receivable and team master list of contacts
  • Assist with the creation and automation of forecasting tools and reports
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of internal and external materials
  • Review monthly actual business performance vs. budgets and assist with explaining variances
  • Gain proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, Quickbooks and potentially Iris
  • Contribute to the development of financial plans and strategies
  • Perform ad-hoc projects as they come up
Qualifications:
  • College student with a focus in Finance, Accounting or related major
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task with excellent follow-through and task completion is critical
  • Strong qualitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into an insightful story
  • Optimistic and can-do attitude to help push for resolutions
  • Motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem solver with a sense of curiosity; able to work independently to produce quality results
  • Familiar with financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and how they work together
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Excel with basic knowledge of formula structures and pivot tables

This is a hybrid position out of our Park City, UT office.
