The Opportunity 

As the Executive Search Director for Momentum, you will have the opportunity to build a brand new executive recruitment function for this dynamic, high growth organization.  You will be the first dedicated executive search partner at Momentum, responsible for bringing the most senior and most strategic talent to the five distinct companies that make up the Momentum portfolio. In this high profile position, you will leverage your deep background in executive recruitment to research, source, engage, interview and hire top class talent, delivering a white glove service to both candidate and hiring team alike.

Our ideal candidate for this position will be based out of our Dallas, TX office, working on a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in office / 2 days WFH).  We are also open to hybrid work out of our New York or Austin offices for exceptional candidates, with regular travel to our Dallas HQ.  

 

Core Responsibilities in this Role 

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber senior leadership candidates across our portfolio, leveraging networks, industry research, and cutting edge recruitment technology.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future leadership roles.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate assessments, including resume reviews, behavioral interviews, and competency evaluations.
  • Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand organizational goals, team dynamics, and specific role requirements.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
  • Provide expert guidance on market trends (global and domestic), compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
  • Engage with candidates to present opportunities and assess their alignment with company culture and role expectations.
  • Champion each company’s unique employer value proposition - as well as the scale and power of the Momentum network - to attract top executive talent.
  • Develop and optimize company processes around executive and leadership level searches (intakes, progress reporting, profile/interview scoring, onsite logistics, etc)

 

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years experience in recruiting with at least 3 of those years spent in executive search
  • Experience working within a respected Executive Search firm (top 5 firm preferred)
  • Full-cycle experience from research to sourcing, engaging, interviewing and offer negotiation
  • Experience recruiting both Corporate and GTM leaders
  • Proficient with technology and data
  • Executive level communication with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

  • Experience working within a Fortune 1000 in-house TA team
  • Relevant industry experience within either a Technology or Professional Services company
  • Experience developing and refining executive search processes to drive maximum impact
  • Experience administering leadership assessments (Hogan, DISC, etc)

The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions. The People & Culture team will provide specific details during the hiring process.
