The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic and growth-minded talent to join us in the role of PMO to join our Strategy & Operations team. You'll play a key role in our team, collaborating closely with other incredible and talented individuals. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity, enabling cross-functional teams to execute with clarity and impact. You’ll work closely with business leaders, operators, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of high-priority initiatives.
This role is focused on advancing Momentum’s internal business operations and transformation priorities—working across departments and portfolio companies to execute high-impact initiatives that support our growth and scalability.
You'll contribute to manage strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, M&A integrations, and change management programs across our Momentum ecosystem and portfolio of companies in a collaborative, innovative environment and be part of our mission to enable, accelerate, and empower our partners at Momentum companies, allowing them to deliver best-in-class solutions for their customers. About This Role at Momentum
As a PMO team member within our Strategy & Operations team at Momentum, your days will be dynamic and filled with opportunities to contribute to our mission. Your role will flex across internal project management, operational rigor, and strategic delivery. Here's a glimpse into what your overall responsibilities might look like:
- Lead cross-functional project planning, execution, tracking, and retrospectives for business-critical programs.
- Partner with executive sponsors and initiative leads to scope, sequence, and staff key projects across Momentum and its portfolio.
- Drive end-to-end M&A integration activities, from due diligence through customer, people and business alignment.
- Build and maintain PMO tools, dashboards, and frameworks to create visibility and accountability.
- Anticipate and remove roadblocks across initiatives to maintain momentum and meet timelines.
- Create change enablement plans and communication frameworks to align stakeholders and drive adoption.
- Facilitate regular project reviews, check-ins, and reporting cadences for key initiatives.
- Stay connected to best practices in operational excellence, change management, and portfolio PMO discipline.
- Roll up your sleeves to solve operational challenges and support project teams wherever needed.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree (Business, Strategy, Operations, or related field preferred).
- Has 6–10 years of experience in a project management, PMO, or business operations role, ideally in a consulting, holding company, private equity or high-growth environment.
- Brings a proven track record of leading and delivering cross-functional projects on time and with impact.
- Demonstrates the ability to work across multiple stakeholders and workstreams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Has strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills—able to craft updates that speak to executives and operators alike.
- Is experienced with project and program management tools like Asana or Smartsheet; familiarity with Airtable, Miro, or PowerBI a plus.
- Shows comfort with ambiguity and thrives in environments that require both strategy and hands-on execution.
- Has experience supporting M&A integration or organizational change initiatives.
- Brings curiosity, humility, and a drive to continuously improve how we work and what we deliver.
- Bonus: Experience with Agile methodologies or product management frameworks is a strong plus, especially when supporting iterative business transformation initiatives.
The final job title and level for this position will depend on the candidate we hire. We’re open to strong talent at the Manager, Senior Manager, or Director level, and we price all roles fairly and competitively based on the Dallas market. Final leveling decisions will be made based on the candidate’s background, experience, and alignment with our internal job architecture and existing team structure.
When considering experience for this role, we typically find a great fit with candidates who have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the specified field. Additionally, experience in a holding company and/or in a start-up environment is a definite plus.

The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions. The People & Culture team will provide specific details during the hiring process.
