We are seeking a dynamic and growth-minded individual to join us in the role of Corporate Development (M&A) Analyst. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates. You’ll play a key role on our Corporate Development team, supporting deal evaluation, execution, integration, and strategic projects across the M&A lifecycle. Additionally, as part of our Launch Program, you’ll be a part of a small cohort of early-career professionals receiving hands-on training to support your transition into your full-time role.

The Launch Program is Momentum’s premier early career initiative, offering a comprehensive onboarding experience for recent graduates joining our full-time, onsite roles in Dallas, Texas. This program equips participants with essential skills, knowledge, and connections through workplace orientation, team integration, and targeted training sessions. With ongoing support and training opportunities, the Launch Program ensures a smooth transition into your new role.

A Day In The Life of this Role at Momentum
As a Corporate Development Analyst, your days will be dynamic and filled with opportunities to contribute to our mission. Here's a glimpse into what your typical day might look like:
- Spearhead market mapping exercises, identifying potential acquisition targets and market trends.
- Assist in evaluating potential M&A targets by preparing valuation models, sensitivity analyses, and concise financial summaries.
- Maintain internal databases of reviewed opportunities and help track target pipelines.
- Participate in the full deal lifecycle from LOI through diligence and integration to ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal and external diligence advisors to support due diligence and reporting.
- Help manage communications, documentation, and materials for high-level meetings with senior leaders.
- Prepare offer letters, purchase accounting entries, and post-close schedules (earnout, escrow, working capital adjustments).
- Support ad hoc strategic projects, such as internal financial reviews or advising emerging business units.
In this role, you will regularly engage with senior leaders and be trusted to handle sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism. You’ll contribute meaningfully in high-stakes environments where poise, confidentiality, and thoughtful presence are essential.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Will graduate in the Spring of 2026 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Brings a strong interest in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, supported by relevant coursework or internships.
- Demonstrates a high level of maturity and discretion, especially when handling confidential or high-visibility matters.
- Has proven leadership experience in extracurricular activities or previous roles, demonstrating the ability to drive project success.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Has foundational knowledge of financial analysis, including exposure to financial modeling, valuation concepts, and financial statement analysis through coursework or internships.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite. Familiarity with financial modeling tools or databases, such as Pitchbook, is a plus.
- Can manage multiple priorities and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Embraces a growth mindset, seeks learning opportunities, and tackles challenges with creative solutions.

The base salary range for this position may vary based on location. Actual compensation will be determined by role, level, and location, considering additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For roles eligible for remote work, the base salary is tailored to the designated work location. In addition to the base salary, candidates may be eligible to receive a discretionary annual bonus, determined based on both the company's business performance and individual contributions. The People & Culture team will provide specific details during the hiring process.
