
Project Manager - Contract

GENERAL FUNCTION
Reporting into the Director, Project Management Office, the Project Manager will be responsible for the full cycle requirements gathering, planning, execution and reporting on key projects and programs impacting cross-functional areas of the business. The successful candidate will demonstrate a highly collaborative and proactive approach to project management, bringing teams together across different areas of the business to deliver high-priority enterprise-wide projects. This role will also play a crucial role in aligning project objectives with strategic business goals and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organization.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Lead and manage multiple, complex enterprise-wide projects and programs from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with business strategy, timelines, scope, budget and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives and deliverables, aligning with organizational goals.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success, regulatory compliance and data security.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders, senior management, and executive leadership.
- Utilize project analytics to make informed decisions, optimize resource allocation, and enhance project efficiency.
- Manage third-party vendors, contracts, and external partnerships to ensure seamless project execution and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee and strategically manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for enterprise-wide project portfolios.
- Foster effective communication channels among team members and stakeholders, facilitating a smooth exchange of project-related information.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk logs, and post-implementation reports.
- Identify and resolve project issues, bottlenecks, and conflicts to maintain project momentum and quality.
- Support the growth and development of the ePMO through the implementation and continuous improvement of a Project Management framework.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills, inspiring and motivating the project team to achieve exceptional results.
- Drive strategic change management initiatives, ensuring executive stakeholder buy-in, seamless adoption, and alignment with business goals.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, finance, or a related field.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in the full-cycle planning and delivery of highly complex enterprise-wide projects.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the finance or fintech industry with a successful track record of delivering complex enterprise-wide projects and Programs.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management environments.
- Strong background in vendor management, contract negotiation, and third-party oversight.
- Experience working in retail banking, consumer lending or financial technology operations is preferred.

- Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex projects and programs with enterprise-wide impact.
- Strategic mindset with experience aligning project outcomes with business objectives and organizational vision.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and drive decision-making at senior leadership levels.
- Expertise in portfolio management, resource allocation and prioritization across multiple projects.
- Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage stakeholder expectations and drive successful outcomes.
- Experience developing and implementing PMO best practices, governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, financial forecasting and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis.
