Reporting to the VP of Digital Growth & Innovation, this role works across multiple pods—including Acquisition, Customer Experience & Transformation—to ensure customer experiences are functional, emotionally resonant, frictionless, and revenue-impacting. You’ll lead a team of embedded designers, ensuring cohesive user experiences that drive engagement, satisfaction, and sales growth.

What You’ll Do

  • UX Strategy & Vision: Own and evolve the end-to-end UX strategy for digital experiences, aligning design principles with business goals and customer expectations

  • Driving Post-MVP Excellence: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Pod Leads to take MVP launches into differentiated, engaging experiences through testing, analytics, and user feedback

  • Leadership of Embedded Designers: Manage and mentor UX and product designers embedded within pods, ensuring design excellence, cohesion, and user advocacy

  • Cross-Pod Collaboration: Serve as a connector across pods, prioritizing high-value UX opportunities, reducing design debt, and ensuring seamless cross-journey experiences

  • Customer-Centric Continuous Improvement: Build feedback loops using research and analytics, drive usability testing and design sprints, and stay current with emerging UX tools and trends

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • 7+ years of UX/Product Design experience, with at least 2+ years leading design teams or initiatives

  • Proven track record iterating on MVPs or post-MVP experiences that improved customer satisfaction and business outcomes

  • Strong portfolio of customer-centered solutions demonstrating measurable impact

  • Deep expertise in design systems, interaction design, and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch) within agile delivery environments

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and teams

  • Background in financial services, fintech, or consumer retail environments preferred

Education + Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred

  • Experience working within agile delivery environments and cross-functional digital teams

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor designers, lead design reviews, and scale UX practices across pods
