The Job: Specialist, Business Process Transformation

We’re looking for a Specialist, Business Process Transformation to support initiatives that improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance business performance. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the implementation of scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Support current-state analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Assist in applying process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Contribute to designing and implementing optimized workflows

Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation

  • Coordinate interviews and support workshops (e.g., kaizen sessions) to gather insights from stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand operational challenges and requirements

Documentation & Process Design

  • Document workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps
  • Support the development and rollout of new or improved processes

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track key metrics to monitor process performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting

Change Management & Adoption

  • Partner with Enterprise Change Management teams to support adoption of new processes
  • Help ensure successful implementation and sustained usage of process improvements

Research & Innovation

  • Stay informed on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in process optimization and automation
  • Support exploration of tools such as RPA to enhance efficiency

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Understanding of process improvement concepts and methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education + Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in operations or process improvement roles
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and business outcomes
  • Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies is an asset
  • Familiarity with process mapping and value-stream analysis
  • Experience with data analysis tools and RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism) is a plus

Please note:

The salary range for this position is between C$75000 to C$85000.
