The Job: IT Vendor Management

What You’ll Do The IT Vendor Management supports the governance, oversight, optimization, and financial management of IT vendor relationships, contracts, licensing agreements, service commitments, and vendor performance across the IT portfolio to improve transparency, reduce cost, strengthen risk oversight, and support leadership decision-making.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

IT Vendor Governance & Relationship Management Manage end-to-end governance, oversight, and optimization of IT vendor relationships, contracts, service agreements, and vendor commitments across the IT portfolio. Define and implement vendor governance processes, service review cadences, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms to monitor service delivery, compliance, risk, and value realization.

Contract Inventory, Lifecycle Management & Renewals Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of IT supplier contracts, licensing agreements, statements of work, renewal schedules, key commercial terms, vendor obligations, and financial commitments. Maintain proactive oversight of contract renewals by establishing alerts, tracking timelines, and identifying risks.

Cost Optimization, FinOps & Financial Governance Lead IT contract reviews, cost optimization initiatives, consolidation opportunities, and renegotiation activities to maximize value and reduce unnecessary spend. Establish and mature an IT cost management and FinOps governance framework, including financial forecasting, budgeting support, cost allocation, service consumption tracking, and optimization recommendations.

Cross-Functional Sourcing, Risk & Compliance Support Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, IT leadership, business stakeholders, and other partners to support strategic sourcing initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational standards and best practices. Validate supplier risk and security requirements, support vendor risk oversight, and help rationalize supplier fragmentation and cost exposure.

Executive Reporting, Insights & Work Products Prepare executive reports, analyses, recommendations, templates, process documentation, operating procedures, and other work products to support vendor governance, vendor risk, cost optimization, and leadership decision-making. Provide actionable insights and recommendations on vendor performance, financial commitments, risks, and optimization opportunities.

 

Experience  8+ Years of experience managing vendor contracts, licensing agreements, service commitments, renewal tracking, performance reporting, and cost optimization activities.

Ready to lead the optimization of vendor partnerships, driving cost efficiency, strengthening governance, and influencing strategic technology decisions through data-driven vendor

 

Education 

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Procurement, Contract Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Preferred

Advanced coursework or certification in vendor management, procurement, finance, technology management, or IT governance.
