**Would need flexibility in schedule to accept patient teaches (to be scheduled Monday through Friday)
About the Position:
The Clinical Educator will leverage advanced clinical expertise and strong communication skills to deliver high-quality, compliant education on an innovative rare disease injectable therapy. Through live, in-person engagements, the educator will serve as a trusted clinical resource for patients, supporting treatment initiation, ongoing administration, and side-effect management.
Essential Functions:

Assist patients/caregivers with implementing treatment protocols of the prescribing physician. Provide in-person training on initiation and proper use of medication including self-injection techniques, administration, and side effect management

Communicate complex information effectively and empathetically to patients and their caregivers. Coordinate language access needs by initiating requests through approved translation resources (e.g., Globo) to ensure culturally appropriate, compliant education.

Partner closely with the Virtual Clinical Educator (VCE) to align on patient status, education goals, language needs, and readiness prior to the live teach.

Contribute valuable field insights to inform the evolution of training materials, identify emerging educational gaps, and recommend innovative approaches that enhance engagement and clinical understanding

Collaborate with the VCE to reinforce consistent messaging across live and virtual touchpoints, maintaining a unified patient experience and adherence to approved materials.

Document all training activities accurately and in a timely manner in required systems (e.g., Momentum systems), meeting all reporting expectations

Maintain disciplined compliance, adhering to all client, company, and industry regulations, approved content, and role-specific rules of engagement

Complete timely AEPQC reporting and provide all communications in a compliant manner

Perform additional duties as assigned in support of broader team and organizational objectives

Required Education and/or Experience:

BSN degree required
Required License and/or credential(s):

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure (RN, NP) in the state in which you reside
Required Skills:

Patient education experience, including injection education (preferably on behalf of a pharmaceutical company or device manufacturer)

Availability and willingness to travel to patient sites within assigned territory (via car or plane)

Strong confidence and familiarity with technology, including language translation platforms (Globo)

Rare disease patient education experience

Ability to use motivational interviewing to help patients with varying degrees of confidence and/or language barriers with goal setting, resolving concerns

Ability to connect with and build trust with patients and apply critical thinking to anticipate obstacles and provide solutions

Proven adaptability to changing business demands in a fast-paced environment

Eligible to participate in federal healthcare programs or in federal procurement or non-procurement programs
Special Position Requirements:
Travel:
100% within assigned territory
Working Conditions:
Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 25% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively (hear, listen, speak) with or without reasonable accommodations.
