Senior Visual Designer

This is a fully remote role to be based in Malaysia. We will prioritize candidates who are based in Malaysia and do not require a work visa sponsorship.

We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer  to lead and oversee our creative initiatives, manage agency partners and ensure all creative outputs adhere to the brief, align with brand guidelines and uphold brand standards, maintaining high quality and consistency. This role combines creative leadership, design, ideation and campaign oversight, with hands-on design work during high-priority or time-sensitive projects. This is a regional role, with a primary focus on the Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Oversight and Ideation

  • Create, update and enforce corporate and brand design standards, ensuring a consistent brand image across all channels.
  • Monitor design trends and industry best practices, recommending fresh ideas to keep brand creatives innovative and engaging.
  • Provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback to internal and external partners.
  • Ensure all creative outputs maintain high quality, consistency and alignment with the brief, brand guidelines and standards
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide initial ideas or direction to guide creative development.

Agency and Campaign Oversight

  • Manage creative agency relationships, ensuring clear communication, creative alignment and timely delivery of campaigns across all markets.
  • Oversee the end to end campaign workflow, from developing briefs with the marketing team and briefing the agency to managing deliverables, Key Visual (KV) feedback, adaptations and approvals.
  • Coordinate closely with the marketing team and oversee the design element of project management to translate requirements into actionable creative tasks for the agency.
  • Ensure all outputs meet brand guidelines, standards and quality expectations.

Hands-on Design

  • Step in to produce or adapt creative assets during crunch period or high-priority campaigns, including corporate communication materials such as presentations, internal/external collaterals, templates and marketing assets.
  • Maintain practical knowledge of design tools to effectively guide and support the team when necessary. 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in creative roles, preferably in-house or agency.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese is a nice to have/ a plus (Traditional Chinese for writing). 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects a plus), and Figma, Canva
  • Strong project/agency oversight skills and stakeholder management.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing campaign execution, ideation and design versatility.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Resourceful, independent and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in a regional capacity across multiple markets is a plus.
  • Degree/Diploma in Design, Visual Communication, Marketing or related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the fintech, banking or insurance industry is a plus

Who may have access to personal data?

Your information will be shared internally within the Group for the purposes of the recruitment exercise. This includes with members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process, managers in the business area with a vacancy, internal and external auditors and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles.

Your personal data will be shared with Greenhouse Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by MoneyHero Group to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on MoneyHero Group’s behalf.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

For unsuccessful candidates, we will retain the personal data provided during the application process for a period of two (2) years. This is to maintain accurate recruitment records, prevent duplicate applications, and to allow us to consider you for future opportunities that may match your profile. After this period, your data will be securely deleted from our systems. Should you wish to request the deletion of your data before the end of this retention period, you may contact us at legal-team@moneyherogroup.com.

What if you do not supply your personal data?
