Senior Associate, SEO (Traditional Chinese required for Hong Kong & Taiwan Market)

We are looking for a data-driven, AI-savvy Senior Associate, SEO to own and accelerate organic growth across our Hong Kong and Taiwan markets. This is a "hands-on" execution role. You will be responsible for dominating the "Search Universe" from traditional SERPs to the new frontiers of AI Overviews (AIO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to drive high-intent unpaid traffic.
YOUR TASK
- Develop and execute a localized SEO roadmap for Hong Kong and Taiwan, balancing technical excellence with high-velocity content deployment to maximize and increase unpaid traffic.
- AIO & GEO Pioneering: Implement strategies to ensure our products are cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, and Perplexity. Optimize for "Brand Citations" and "Information Retrieval" to stay ahead of the AI shift.
- Technical SEO Mastery: Perform deep-dive audits and hands-on fixes for site architecture, Schema markup (Financial/Product/Review), and Core Web Vitals to ensure 100% crawlability and indexation across regional domains.
- AI-Leveraged Content Scaling: Work with the content team to use AI tools for rapid keyword research, clustering, and localizing content for the TW market (Mandarin) vs. HK market (Cantonese/Traditional Chinese).
- Competitive Intelligence: Conduct aggressive gap analysis against regional competitors. Identify "Search Intent" shifts and capitalize on emerging financial trends (e.g., new credit card launches or tax season) before they peak.
- Performance Analytics: Own the SEO dashboard for both markets. Use GA4, Google Search Console, and AI-tracking tools to report on Organic CTR, GEO Visibility, and Lead Conversion rates.
- Stakeholder Sync: Collaborate with Product and Tech teams in Agile sprints to ensure SEO requirements (Hreflang, canonicals, etc.) are prioritized in the regional product roadmap.
- Authority Building: Execute organic link-building campaigns through content exchanges and digital PR to restore Domain Authority (E-E-A-T) post-core updates.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in the field of SEO in a B2C role; including hands-on technical SEO and content marketing / optimization experience
- Subject matter expert in all core SEO areas including but not limited to Content, Keyword Research, Technical SEO (UX, site architecture, URL structure, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, dynamic/static pages, schema markup, etc.), On-Page Optimization (Metadata, Headings, Content, Anchor Links, Navigation, etc.) and Off-Page Optimization (backlinks, domain authority, etc.)
- Deep understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs) source information. You know how to optimize content for semantic relevance and authoritativeness (E-E-A-T) to win in AI search.
- Advanced Tool Stack: Expert-level, hands-on experience with:
- Crawl/Audit: Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, or Lumar.
- Research/Rank: Ahrefs, Semrush, and Moz.
- AI/Optimization: SurferSEO, NeuronWriter, or Perplexity for research.
- Data: Google Search Console (API usage is a plus), GA4, and BigQuery.
- Writing skills in Chinese, fluent verbal skills in English
- Comfortable reading and editing HTML/CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript SEO (React/Next.js) and how to implement advanced Structured Data.
- Track record of exceeding aggressive growth targets and managing SEO projects from inception to completion
