THE ROLE

MoneyHero Hong Kong is looking for a hands-on Associate Manager, Performance Marketing to drive profitable growth across our core business verticals, including credit cards, loans, insurance and investment.

This role is critical to our growth engine. With performance marketing now managed fully in-house, you will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing and reporting paid media campaigns directly across key channels such as Google Search, Performance Max, Meta, display, retargeting and other acquisition platforms.

You will work closely with the Growth & Retention Lead, Commercial, Content, Product and Data teams to ensure every dollar spent contributes to business outcomes, including applications, approvals, revenue, gross profit contribution and CAC efficiency.

You will also work alongside another performance marketing team member, with vertical responsibilities split across the team. You also need to coach, guide or manage a peer performance marketer to ensure strong execution quality, shared learnings and consistent optimization discipline across verticals.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own hands-on planning, setup, execution, optimization and reporting of paid media campaigns across Google Search, Performance Max, Meta, display, retargeting and other relevant acquisition channels.
  • Manage performance marketing fully in-house without reliance on external agencies, including campaign structure, bidding, targeting, budget pacing, creative testing, tracking checks and optimization.
  • Take ownership of assigned business verticals, which may include credit cards, loans, insurance and investment products.
  • Translate vertical business goals into paid media plans, including application targets, approval targets, issued revenue targets, CAC / CPA targets and gross profit contribution.
  • Optimize campaigns based on full-funnel business performance, not only clicks, traffic or applications, but also approval rate, issued conversion, revenue quality and GP contribution.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly paid media budgets across assigned verticals, ensuring effective pacing, efficient allocation and timely reallocation based on performance.
  • Identify scaling opportunities, budget wastage, underperforming campaigns and conversion bottlenecks across the paid media funnel.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to align paid media priorities with provider campaigns, product focus, reward strategy, commission structure and profitability targets.
  • Work closely with Product and Data teams to improve tracking accuracy, attribution visibility, landing page performance and application funnel conversion.
  • Work closely with Content / SEO teams to share keyword insights, search demand trends and competitor learnings to support a more integrated search strategy.
  • Work closely with CRM / Retention teams to support retargeting, reactivation and cross-sell opportunities across different user segments and verticals.
  • Lead structured experimentation across keyword strategy, audience targeting, bidding models, creative angles, landing pages, reward propositions and retargeting journeys.
  • Define clear testing hypotheses, success metrics, timelines and post-test recommendations to build a stronger test-and-learn culture.
  • Own regular performance reporting for assigned verticals, including weekly performance updates, monthly reviews, funnel analysis, budget pacing and campaign deep dives.
  • Translate campaign data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for marketing, commercial and senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, media platform updates and user acquisition best practices to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Coach, guide or collaborate with another performance marketing team member where applicable, ensuring strong execution standards and knowledge sharing across verticals.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–8 years of experience in digital / performance marketing.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns directly with a track record of meeting aggressive ROI and growth targets 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to work with stakeholders across multiple markets and functions
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - experience working in a regional marketing role and/or agency a plus
  • In-depth understanding and experience using various performance marketing platforms including, but not limited to, Google Ads, Google Search Ads 360, Facebook ads manager, DV 360, etc.
  • Experience managing large scale paid advertising budgets against business objectives and ROI targets
  • Hands on experience using Google Analytics, DoubleClick Campaign manager, etc.
  • Experience running A/B tests to drive optimization
  • Ability to use both qualitative and quantitative data to develop strategy recommendations and optimization tactics
  • Commercially sharp, data-driven and ROI-focused.

MoneyHero Group may share your personal data with third parties in order to, obtain pre-employment references from other employers, obtain employment background checks from third party providers and to obtain necessary criminal record checks.

How long do we hold your personal data?

Your personal data will be retained by the Group for so long as the Group determines it is reasonably necessary to evaluate your application for employment. If your application for employment is successful, personal data gathered during the recruitment process will be transferred to your personnel file and retained during your employment in accordance with the contract of employment and our internal privacy policy.

For unsuccessful candidates, we will retain the personal data provided during the application process for a period of two (2) years. This is to maintain accurate recruitment records, prevent duplicate applications, and to allow us to consider you for future opportunities that may match your profile. After this period, your data will be securely deleted from our systems.
