About the Job
We are seeking a Manager, Business Development to join our Commercial team and manage Credit Card partnerships with financial institutions in the Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for deepening and growing existing provider relationships with a focus on Credit Cards — pitching co-branded campaigns, driving branding and awareness initiatives, and maximising revenue from our established partner network. You will play a key role in sustaining and growing the Credit Card vertical, which represents the core of our Philippines gross profit.
The Manager, Business Development will be responsible for:
- Pitch, sell, negotiate and renegotiate commercial deals with Financial Institutions (providers) in the Philippines by understanding their business needs and objectives
- Develop and execute against provider account plans, enabling you to meet and exceed your targets
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationship with Profit & Loss (P&L) decision makers or economic buyers at provider organizations, as well as key influencers and supporters (and ensure that relationship web mapping is executed properly)
- Measure and manage the entire business development progress
- Monitor the activity of competitors and utilize learnings in the market
- Analyze campaign performance and give recommendations and insights to optimize and improve overall performance
- Identify and pitch co-branded campaign opportunities, branding and awareness initiatives, and upsell opportunities within existing partnerships
- Ensure the regulatory environment is understood and complied with
- Represent MoneyHero Group's value proposition to Credit Card providers across MoneyMax and drive revenue growth through existing and potentially new partnerships
- Act as a genuine partner who communicates business development strategies in the Philippines with the wider MoneyHero Group organization; both functionally (i.e. across marketing, product etc.) and regionally (across different markets)
In this role, we are looking for someone with:
- 3 to 5 years years work experience in a B2B sales / sales management role
- Experience in Credit Card account management or Credit Card partnerships, with knowledge of retail banking products and digital marketing processes
- Proven record of negotiating and securing deals
- Target oriented individual with demonstrable sales experience dealing with B2B providers having demonstrated decision making, problem solving, and negotiating skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage professionally and credibly with senior stakeholders, including Head-level decision-makers at financial institutions
- Ability to characterize value of financial products
- Able to work in a matrix organization
Good to have:
- BA or BSc degree in finance, business, marketing, or related field
- Experience in driving the adoption of new technologies and solutions preferred.
