You will have the opportunity to work on a large-scale personal finance content library across credit cards, loans, insurance and investment, with a clear business goal of growing organic visibility, improving product page visits and supporting application click-outs. As you build familiarity with the content library and the market, you will have the opportunity to take independent ownership of content planning for specific verticals.

About the Job

We are looking for an Associate, SEO Content Operations to support SEO content operations for MoneyHero Hong Kong, the group's Hong Kong financial comparison platform.

This is a hands-on execution role for someone who is disciplined, efficient, comfortable working with search data, and experienced in refreshing and optimizing existing content. You will help strengthen organic performance by improving pages that have lost rankings, strengthening on-page SEO, reducing content cannibalization, and making content more useful, structured and ready for SEO/AIO/GEO discovery, while also producing new personal finance content in line with the content plan. Beyond SEO content, you will support social media and newsletters, extending the value of our content library beyond search.

The ideal candidate has strong Traditional Chinese financial content writing skills, understands SEO fundamentals, can work independently against a steady weekly output, and is able to turn GSC keyword and performance data into practical content improvements.

Job Descriptions:

  • Refresh and rewrite existing articles that previously ranked but have since lost traffic, including reviewing lost keywords, fact-checking, restructuring content, filling content gaps, and improving SEO elements such as titles, descriptions, H1s and H2s.
  • Optimize pages ranking in positions 4-20 by improving search intent matching, adding useful sections, strengthening headings, adding internal links, and improving snippet-readiness.
  • Write new articles in line with the content plan, including keyword research, competitor review, outlining, and producing Traditional Chinese personal finance content that matches search intent.
  • Support content consolidation by identifying overlapping pages that cannibalize rankings, recommending which page should be retained as the main page, and preparing merge/de-duplication instructions, canonical recommendations or 301 redirect notes where relevant.
  • Improve content for SEO, AIO and GEO readiness by adding answer-first summaries, structured FAQs, schema recommendations, clear definitions, source references, and trust-building content where appropriate.
  • Conduct content maintenance, including updating outdated information, checking product references and rates, mapping destination links, improving CTAs, and ensuring content remains accurate and customer-friendly.
  • Work from a defined SEO workflow and checklist, including keyword review, content gap review, metadata checks, internal linking checks, factual QA, and CMS readiness and publishing.
  • Support social content planning and copywriting, adapting existing personal finance content into formats suited to social platforms.
  • Support monthly newsletter/EDM planning, copywriting and scheduling, including topic selection, copy, link placement and performance tracking.

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • Strong precision and meticulousness, demonstrating a sharp eye for financial data, product specifications, and maintaining rigorous quality control prior to submission.
  • High level of ownership and reliability in hit targets, ensuring proactive communication regarding project status and consistent implementation of editorial revisions.
  • Self-directed work ethic with the capacity to manage steady output independently and a drive to advance tasks through every stage of the workflow.
  • Proven track record in executing SEO-driven content strategies, including article refreshes and performance optimization.
  • Exceptional Traditional Chinese writing proficiency, with a focus on personal finance, banking, or consumer-centric educational materials.
  • Comprehensive grasp of on-page SEO principles, covering intent analysis, keyword alignment, metadata crafting, and structured data application.
  • Proficiency in leveraging Google Search Console to monitor metrics, diagnose traffic fluctuations, and implement data-informed content adjustments.
  • Prior experience developing engaging copy for social media platforms and email marketing campaigns.
  • Capability to perform rigorous fact-checking via authoritative sources, combining AI tools with professional editorial judgment and quality assurance.
  • Skilled in navigating CMS environments for content updates or demonstrating the agility to master new publishing workflows rapidly.
  • Disciplined self-starter capable of maintaining a consistent delivery schedule and meeting rigorous deadlines within a remote framework.
  • Strong communicative abilities with a commitment to following project briefs, standardized checklists, and iterative feedback cycles.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for personal finance verticals, including credit products, insurance solutions, and investment comparison content.
