About the Job

We are looking for a data-driven, AI-savvy Senior Associate / SEO Strategy Consultant to own and accelerate organic growth across our Taiwan market. This is a "hands-on" execution role. You will be responsible for dominating the "Search Universe" from traditional SERPs to the new frontiers of AI Overviews (AIO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to drive high-intent unpaid traffic.

What We Offer

You will be entitled to a competitive salary and attractive benefits, including:

  • Annual leave, birthday leave, tenure leave, international remote work leave, and more
  • Five-day work week, hybrid work arrangement
  • Professional trainings, career advancement and internal mobility opportunities
  • Competitive benefits including insurance and mental wellness program

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a localized SEO roadmap for Taiwan, balancing technical SEO, content performance, AI Search visibility and conversion growth to maximize high-intent unpaid traffic.
  • Technical SEO Ownership: Own and optimize crawling, indexation, site architecture, URL structure, canonicals, XML sitemaps, robots directives, hreflang, breadcrumbs, taxonomy, internal linking, structured data, Core Web Vitals and JavaScript rendering. Diagnose technical issues and translate findings into actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
  • CMS & Site Migration: Own SEO planning and QA for CMS, platform, domain or URL migrations, including URL inventory, redirect mapping, canonical/hreflang validation, sitemap and robots configuration, breadcrumb and taxonomy architecture, internal linking, structured data, staging audits and post-launch monitoring to minimize organic traffic loss.
  • AIO / GEO & AI Search: Develop strategies to increase brand and content visibility across Google AI Overviews / AI Mode, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity and emerging AI search environments. Optimize for semantic relevance, entity authority, information retrievability, citation visibility and AI crawler accessibility.
  • AI-Era Content Architecture: Work with Content teams to build search-first content frameworks designed for both users and machine retrieval, including answer-first structures, query decomposition, topic/entity coverage, clear heading hierarchy, contextual internal linking, first-party insights, authoritative sourcing and content freshness.
  • AI-Leveraged SEO: Use AI tools to accelerate keyword research, clustering, competitor analysis, content gap identification and localization while maintaining accuracy, originality, editorial quality and Taiwan relevance.
  • Stakeholder Sync: Collaborate with Product and Tech teams in Agile sprints to ensure SEO requirements (Hreflang, canonicals, etc.) are prioritized in the regional product roadmap.
  • Authority Building: Execute organic link-building campaigns through content exchanges and digital PR to restore Domain Authority (E-E-A-T) post-core updates.

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

  • 6+ years of experience in the field of SEO in a B2C role; including hands-on technical SEO and content marketing / optimisation experience
  • Strong practical expertise across Technical SEO and Content SEO, with proven ability to independently diagnose issues, prioritize opportunities and drive implementation from discovery through QA and performance measurement.
  • Deep understanding of Technical SEO, including crawling, rendering, indexation, site architecture, URL structure, redirects, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, hreflang, breadcrumbs, taxonomy/tag architecture, internal linking, structured data, Core Web Vitals and dynamic/static pages.
  • Proven experience supporting or owning CMS, platform, domain or large-scale URL migrations, including redirect mapping, staging audits, launch validation and post-migration traffic/indexation monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of AIO, GEO and AI Search, including how search engines and LLM-powered systems discover, retrieve, evaluate and surface information across Google AI experiences, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity and emerging platforms.
  • Advanced Tool Stack: Expert-level, hands-on experience with:
    • Crawl/Audit: Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, or Lumar.
    • Research/Rank: Ahrefs, Semrush, and Moz.
    • AI/Optimization: SurferSEO, NeuronWriter, or Perplexity for research.
    • Data: Google Search Console (API usage is a plus), GA4, and BigQuery.
  • Writing skills in Traditional Chinese, fluent verbal and written skills in English, with strong understanding of Taiwanese search behavior, terminology and local market context.
  • Comfortable reading and editing HTML/CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript SEO (React/Next.js) and how to implement advanced Structured Data.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project ownership skills, with a track record of working effectively with Product, Engineering and Content teams and exceeding aggressive growth targets.
