Internship - Product Design

MoneySmart is Southeast Asia’s leading personal finance platform, helping consumers across Singapore and Hong Kong find the right financial products and make smarter decisions with their money. We’re at an inflection point: moving from a comparison platform to a genuinely personalised financial companion.

Mission

  • We're investing in our Figma component library and design system. You'll work directly with the design team to rebuild and improve components, audit the existing library, and document it so the whole team can use it consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Rebuild and restyle Figma components — variants, states, and design token bindings
  • Audit the existing component library to identify inconsistencies, deprecated components, and hardcoded values
  • Document component usage, variants, and guidelines for the design and engineering teams
  • Participate in weekly design reviews and incorporate feedback

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Figma: components, variants, auto layout, and styles (variables/tokens a plus)
  • An eye for visual detail and consistency
  • Organized and methodical — comfortable with structured, repetitive work done well
  • Able to communicate design decisions clearly
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in design or a related field

Nice to have

  • Exposure to design systems or component libraries
  • Basic understanding of how design tokens translate to code
