A day in the life:
As the Regulatory Affairs Manager , you will be responsible for formula, raw material, labeling compliance as well as product registration activities for the assigned region(s). Drive projects through cross functional interaction with the greater supply chain team as well as flavor houses regulatory and research and development (R&D) teams.
The impact you'll make:
- Manage ingredient and product registration efforts for various countries. Assess risk and develop registration, formulation, labeling plans accordingly. Perform the regulatory execution effort to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Lead registration efforts with local outside counsel and government authorities to ensure that projects are managed according to corporate brand and product strategy. Lead strategic discussions with outside legal counsel to develop regulatory strategy.
- Responsible to develop regulatory strategy and compliance scheme in dynamic, ever changing markets. Establish a clear direction in unclear territories based on educated risk assessment based on high level strategic thinking.
- Ensure that the internal regulatory department database for new products is kept up to date with all substantiation documents pertaining to labeling, artwork, product claims and regulatory research. Support the maintenance of compliance process and information to ensure an up to date data base to enable sound compliance strategy.
- Assist leadership with the development of internal regulatory policies and best practices to retain knowledge, improve accuracy, and streamline processes.
Who you are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Regulatory Science or Science field. Preferred M.Sc. or MBA
- More than 7 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs - international markets
- Between 3-5 years of experience in R&D or Quality in beverage or food company
- Computer Skills Desired: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Experience with project management and SAP a plus.
Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated annual salary range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
Pay Range
$96,500 - $130,000 USD
