Creator and Influencer Director

USA - Corona, CA; USA - Miami, FL; USA - New York, NY

About Monster Energy:

Forget about blending in. That's not our style. We're the risk takers, the trailblazers, the gamechangers. We're not perfect and we don't pretend to be. We're raw, unfiltered, and a bit unconventional. Our drive is just like our athletes, unrivaled. The power is in your hands to define what success looks like and where you want to take your career. It's not just about what we do, but about who we become along the way. We are much more than a brand here. We are a way of life, a mindset. Join us.

A Day in the Life:

The Creator and Influencer Director will architect and lead the creator and influencer ecosystem for the Strategic Brands portfolio, positioning Reign, NOS, Bang, Storm, and Full Throttle at the center of culture and consumer conversation. This leader will establish the long-term vision, operating model, and talent strategy for creator partnerships, building a scalable function that accelerates brand equity, deepens consumer engagement, and delivers measurable business impact.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Set the creator and influencer marketing strategy for all five Strategic Brands, including goals, cross-brand prioritization, and budget and resource allocation aligned to each brand's objectives and long-term growth.
  • Hire, lead, and develop the creator marketing team, starting with the Manager, Creator & Influencer Marketing.
  • Approve the creators, athletes, and partners each brand works with, set the brand-safety standards they are screened against, and personally manage relationships with top talent.
  • Build the processes, workflows, and agency support that run creator programs consistently across the portfolio — from briefing and sourcing through vetting, contracts, usage rights, and publishing.
  • Select and manage the roster of outside agencies, talent managers, and platforms, setting scope and performance expectations.
  • Define how creator and influencer work is measured and connect it to brand and business results.
  • Direct standout creator-led events and activations that earn attention for the brands.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance on creator contracts, own the disclosure and FTC framework, and lead across the social, brand, insights, legal, and finance teams.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Marketing, Business, Communications or other related fields preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in creator, influencer, talent, or earned-media marketing, including owning top-talent relationships, managing agencies, and negotiating contracts
  • 7+ years of experience in social media marketing, brand marketing, or communications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), plus project management and creator/influencer tracking tools.
  • Deep understanding of the creator landscape across platforms; ability to earn a creator's trust and defend a program in a business review; comfort working across communities (motorsport, fitness, mainstream); and a preference for earned, authentic content over paid, polished content.
