A day in the life:

As an Operations Specialist, you own production planning and supply chain execution for co‑packed products. You lock in material readiness, crush import timelines, and deliver flawless spec handovers to co‑packers. You track shipments relentlessly, hammer customer forecasts into executable plans, and drive New Product Development from concept to launch. You command inventory, eliminate claims, and neutralize shelf‑life risks before they hit the business.
 

The impact you’ll make:

  • Production planning for local facilities based on demand, inventory, co-packer capacity.
  • Work closely with raw material planner on material readiness, highlight shortages, delays, and risks.
  • Manage importation of raw materials and Point of Sales (POS) materials, including documentation and coordination with suppliers and logistics partners and POS.
  • Manage shipment progress for customer Purchase Orders (POs) and review forecasts vs plan, stock.
  • Ensure co-packers receive timely specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and packaging materials artwork to support the NPD and changes.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to support smooth co-packing operations.
  • Interface with New Product Development team to provide operations feedback impacting project timelines.
  • Request and track shelf-life extensions for raw materials that are at risk of expiring.
  • Manage customer claims, quality and local inventory, finished goods, packaging and raw materials.
  • Ensure timely issuance of purchase order to co-packer.

Who you are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field of study.
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in production planning.
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain and customer service.
  • Computer Skills Desired: Advanced user Microsoft Office. Proficiency using SAP, Power BI, APO is advantageous.
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: As this role requires frequent communication with stakeholders around the APAC region, fluent English and advanced Mandarin is preferred.
