Inventory Control Lead, APAC

A Day in the Life:

As Inventory Control Lead, you will drive the end‑to‑end digital transformation of inventory management, owning both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day operations. You will lead the shift from manual processes to automated, data‑driven systems, accelerating digital projects while maintaining operational excellence. Your role ensures absolute alignment between system records and physical stock, rapid and healthy inventory turnover, and tight risk control across the supply chain.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Process system inventory transactions for all activity in SAP Materials Management (MM) module – production, goods receipts, shipments, and other physical movements – to keep system inventory balances synchronized with physical balances, and ensure a high level of inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee daily inventory operation, Including the accurate tracking in real time in all channels. Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and corrects them in SAP in real time. 
  • Lead and develop a team of inventory analysts, providing training and performance feedback. 
  • Conduct cycle counts at stocking locations as required, audit business partner activity and record- keeping. 
  • Periodic wall-to-wall physical inventory audits as required by company internal and external audit requirements. 
  • Ensure operational standards, policies, procedures, and practices are followed in a timely and consistent manner. 
  • Develop a digital operation training plan for the inventory team, carry out specialized training in system operation, data management, digital processes, etc., and improve the team's digital operation capabilities. 
  • Other duties aligned with the nature of the function.

Who You Are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Logistics, Supply Chain management or similar field of study.
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in Inventory Control, Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), Manufacturing industry
  • Preferred Certifications: Ability to use computer-based ERP system, SAP experience preferred – ERP Central Component (ECC), Materials Management (MM), Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Advanced English preferred as this role will be working with stake holders across APAC.
