A day in the life:

As a Region Manager at Monster Energy, you'll be at the forefront of driving dynamic sales and revenue activities, forging strong alliances with retailers, senior distributor leaders, and broker representatives in your territory. Your mission: boost top-line sales revenue while ensuring bottom-line profitability. You'll champion relationships with distributor senior leadership, focusing on directors and general managers, and craft strategic business plans to propel corporate objectives into action. You'll execute powerful partnerships to not just meet, but exceed goals, all while embodying the electrifying spirit of Monster Energy.

The impact you’ll make:    

  • Responsible for the distributor senior leadership relationship, strategy creation, engagement, and execution.
  • Manage day to day relationship, joint business planning and reviews with distributor.
  • Support senior trade development managers (TDM) including capabilities, key performance indicators (KPIs), priorities, development plans, recruitment.
  • Develop direct reports to hybrid role of internal process accountability and field execution standards, utilizing the senior TDM to focus greater time on field training and customer/consumer outcomes.
  • Lead distributor incentives to drive field sales engagement and results, ensuring energy portfolio is consistently a top priority within the distributor teams.
  • Develop joint key account activation calendar with distributor and responsible to ensure distributor alignment and commitment.
  • Build capabilities of direct reports including individual development plans, sales tool optimization, and consistent national customer call approach.
  •  Lead in field execution standards POS, displays, tracking KPI’s, NPD (new product development), distributions.
  • Maintain open communications with the distributors to communicate the latest company standards, share information and best practices, identify common issues and agree solutions.            

Who you are:   

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of ‐‐ Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in sales, in a leadership role preferred
  • Additional Experience Desired: More than 7 years of experience in retail, broker and distributer sales environment
  • Computer Skills Desired: Advanced user of Microsoft Office
  • Preferred Certifications: Experience with forecasting, Nielsen/IRI, POS and inventory reports
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in English preferred
