A Day in the Life:
In the role of Supply Planning Manager, you will take full command of end-to-end supply chain operations across both local and global production networks. This is a high-impact leadership position where precision meets strategy—you’ll drive world-class supply planning for finished goods and raw materials, ensuring nothing slows the momentum. You’ll own the mission of keeping inventory levels lean but powerful, orchestrating production schedules with speed and accuracy, and building a rock-solid raw material pipeline that never misses a beat. At the same time, you’ll fuel continuous improvement across the entire supply network, breaking inefficiencies, optimizing performance, and pushing operations to the next level.
The Impact You'll Make:
- Manage copacker and bottler relationship with their production and operation management team
- Production planning (long term) and scheduling (short term) for local copackers. Manage constrictions in the supply chain that may affect demand plan.
- Manage and influence within the planning team to ensure clear communication of production requirements, material planning and production adherence
- Manage, influence and support the lead planners for finished goods and raw material
- Direct and control purchase orders for suppliers, including logistics (local or international) and imports process if needed. Track and expedite purchase orders by working with vendors, US, and International logistic teams, and update
the delivery dates. - Monthly inventory aging analysis for team and packaging SLOBs (slow moving and obsolete inventory). Lead mitigation plans to deplete inventory with stakeholders.
- Conduct periodic wall-to-wall physical inventory audits as required by company internal and external audit requirements. Assure reconciliation process completed with 3PL (third party logistics)/copacker.
Who You Are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field of study.
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in supply chain processes and logistics
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in leadership role, people manager
- Computer Skills Desired: Advance user Microsoft Office, SAP
- Preferred Certifications: Proficiency using SAP, Power BI, Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and IBP
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent in English and Spanish preferred
