Senior Full Stack Engineer (Back-End Focused)
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Back-End Focused) who will be one of the first technical hires at Monstro. This is a pivotal opportunity to lay the technical foundation of our platform, shape the overall core architecture, and become a founding member of our engineering team. You’ll work closely with our design, product, and executive teams to translate vision into scalable solutions, define technical requirements, and make critical decisions on Monstro’s technical stack, infrastructure, and security.
While you’ll contribute across the stack, your primary strength should be back-end engineering - owning services, APIs, data pipelines, and system scalability. You’ll also drive infrastructure, cloud deployments, and DevOps best practices, ensuring Monstro is built for security, resilience, and global scale.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and is passionate about building innovative technology that disrupts traditional financial systems. This role offers significant ownership, the ability to directly influence the product roadmap, and the chance to grow into a technical leadership position as Monstro scales.
